Just for context they live together and are in their thirties.
So far I have put in:-

A bottle of pink champagne
Two boxes of luxury chocolates
A luxury jar of honey
Chocolate covered cashews
A really nice candle
I'm getting some bath bombs too

Please can anyone suggest something else as I am a bit stumped ?

Thanks

Nice coffee beans or tea bags.
Fudge.
Luxury Christmas Pudding/Christmas cake/mince pies.
Biscuits from Biscuiteers.
Bottle of port.

I would actually have a look at the Fortnum and M&S hampers, to see what they offer and if you can copy! DOn't have to buy it from them.

Anything in Whitehall Garden Centre food section.

They do this multicoloured striped pasta. Mind blown. But it’s like £5 a bag.

WellTidy · 09/12/2022 18:04

Hot chocolate - maybe charbonnel et walker, or hotel chocolat, or green and blacks

coffee

coulis

balsamic vinegar glaze

marmalade/jam

chutney/chilli jam

posh biscuits for cheese

granola

decent bread mix

Posh cordial - elderflower?

PermanentTemporary · 09/12/2022 18:07

Sounds lovely.

M&s are doing a tin of mixed salted nuts that is the bees' bollocks.

turtleyawesome1 · 09/12/2022 18:07

Face masks, if they read maybe a book chosen specifically for each of them, small card game?

MolkosTeenageAngst · 09/12/2022 18:07

Well what kind of food do they like to eat normally? I’m in my 30s but wouldn’t eat/ drink honey or champagne. I would like things like cider, hot sauce and interesting snacks from around the world I hadn’t tried before or posh versions of foods I eat day to day like jam, biscuits, sweets etc. Posh or updated/ interesting version of foods they usually eat are probably going to go down much better than lovely jars of condiments they don’t typically bother with that will just be tried once and sit in the back of the cupboard.

WimbyAce · 09/12/2022 18:26

What about the M&S light up tea/shortbread tins? Not sure how much they are.

WimbyAce · 09/12/2022 18:27

Crackers and cheese. Can get the little cheeses.

The colors are very faded by the time it’s cooked.

Look in TK Maxx for fancy pasta.

It's a bit weird to put bath bombs in a hamper with food!

Typo22 · 09/12/2022 18:46

A coffee shop or cinema voucher, a book each with new bookmark, nice new pen each, dvd of a film they might like, fluffy socks, hand cream, little mini perfumes or aftershaves?

Me and DH are a similar age and these are the types of things we'd like.

Lovely gift for you son and DIL, I'm sure whatever you get will be very much appreciated 😊

catsonahottinroof · 09/12/2022 18:48

A really nice bottle of red wine or port
Spiced nuts
Posh crisps
Just be aware that with scented candles and bath bombs, the smell can permeate everything so all food should be in airtight seals. For this reason I'd not suggest biscuits or cakes.
Maybe a nice chutney or jam, but not too many
Hotel Chocolat hot chocolate sachets, if you know they like hot chocolate.
What about some stuff from an Italian deli? Ligurian extra virgin olive oil, sauces, fancy pasta etc?

Daffodilis · 09/12/2022 18:52

Ramble0n · 09/12/2022 18:02

Borders biscuits
Posh teabags
Fancy jar of jam/marmalade/chutney
Christmas cake

Borders biscuits don't seem to taste the same as they used to.

wishing3 · 09/12/2022 18:53

A really good shampoo/conditioner

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/12/2022 18:54

Personally, I don't like the idea of food being mixed in with other stuff. So, I'd either lose the other stuff or keep it separate.

Good crackers for cheese - Peters Yard are lovely
Nice teabags
Posh hot chocolate and a bag of marshmallows
Little bottle of port
