Thanks @Robstersgirl for the title. Wonder if it was the thread that did it!

Can anyone remember the Honestly Eco code for further discount off their sale prices? Tia!

Not sure if this has been posted before as the threads move so fast and I can't keep up but tiktok have a sign up offer for new users where you can earn £17 of amazon vouchers.

You need a refer a friend code (I have added mine to the referral board) and you need to check in on tiktok everyday for 7 days to receive £17.

Received mine today and have used the £17 to buy a gift for DD 🙂

5poundstuff Oodies I have a panda and a moose/reindeer that I will be returning. If anyone missed out and would like to buy for cost, I am happy to sell them on rather than returning. They don’t have oodie tags or oodie packaging. They were £13.99 each.

Ooooh please may I buy one?? 🙏

Can anyone suggest the best and cheapest way to buy a Fitbit Versa 2 this weekend please? I've not seen anything below about £89.

I was wondering about any voucher codes for places like Argos /Currys etc.
We have Quidco and Nectar card if that makes a difference .

You could get the versa 3 using club card vouchers. It's £130 but because you get 3for1 it would only be 43 of vouchers. It's a real deal as my fitness inspire 3 came today

I don't think there was a code as such but you get 30% off for signing up to a newsletter and delivery is free if over £20. Mine came today. Had some lovely stocking fillers. Here's my code you could try 7VKW-Q6ZC-Y3S4

Devon Wick have a 40% off sale for Black Friday. I love their wax melt snap bars - usually 5 for £10 but works out at only £6 with this offer. Delivery is £2.99 so 5 bars for £8.99 including postage.

buckeejit · 26/11/2022 23:33

@Arewesureitisntbedtime my 9 & 13 yo dc stockings will have satsuma, mini Pringles, mini tin of coke, wind up toys, Costa voucher, chocolate coins, book & mini plush maybe. If I could find a little puzzle/joke for each that would be good.

Elphaba17 · 26/11/2022 23:38

I have been lurking on and off as life has been so busy recently. Have managed to catch a few pages on each thread and this is the first time I have managed to actually log in and post.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to those who posted deals I was able to benefit from. I got one of the otter oodies for DD which came wrapped up with bag and ribbon and she is going to be absolutely delighted with it. The Hotel Chocolat wreath box arrived today from amazon and looks great. Its a treat for me so no way would I have ever paid full price for it. I also got a few bargain wh Smith new releases with the code from a few threads ago too and got a bargain scrawlrbox for £2 delivered yesterday.

My own little contribution is to keep an eye out in Tesco for some toy clearance offers. I managed to get a playmobil schoolhouse for £13.25 today as well as a large Five Nights at Freddies soft toy for £10.

MrsNowAndAlways · 26/11/2022 23:44

I was looking at the Costcs Build a Bear gift cards, fab deal, and I need that much, but do I have to join? An extra £15 for membership takes away from the great deal.

Thanks for New Balance code! Bought a pair for everyone in the family...

How did you get it to work? I entered Cyber30 and it only took off £9.90 from a £163 spend! I didn't buy. Did it work for you?

My chocolate says its been dispatched but I've also had an email saying I've been refunded?!

Anyone know anything about pokemon cards and could literally tell me exactly what to buy and where from 🤣

The amount of money I've spent on these cards, and my kids don't even look at them now. 😡

You can get Pokémon card in supermarkets, toy shops and newsagents - usually next to the tills where they have other collectible cards (like the football cards).

But I found the best place to get everything at the best price was a website called chaoscards.co.uk.

My kids never played the game, they just wanted to collect the cards and trade them. If that's what your child wants to do then you need something to keep the cards in. Mine wanted a binder to keep them organised in at home (like a photo album) and a little tin to take some into school to trade (until school banned them because it caused so much hassle).

Then you need to actually get cards. At most basic, they come in blister packs of 10, which cost about £4 a pack. Or you can buy a special tin which might contain lots of cards. Or a pack which contains lots of blister packs. I got together with my kids friends mums to put together to buy one of the retail packs of blister packs (from chaos cards). We got loads of packs for £120ish quid, but the cost per pack was approx halved. I gave my kids a pack a week or something. It was cheap and I didn't have to run round 6 different shops trying to find somewhere that had them in stock.

You can buy all this stuff from chaos cards, as well as specific individual cards if your child has a favourite Pokémon.

Be aware that there are a new season of Pokémon cards to go with each new season of the cartoon. I've just googled and the current season seems to be sword and shield? So your child may want the current season.

@Flubadubba @IggyAce @Scout2016 thank you!!! Looks like the set I saw might be worth a punt! Will add those make up brushes to my basket also!

She does keep mentioning skin care, I don't know where to start with that either!

Have been thinking of going to a professional for a makeup lesson myself as I have no idea and just chuck it on. I put eyeshadow on with my finger last night 🤣

Glossier usually do for black Friday sets. Skin care and fairly subtly makeup. Cloud paint is especially good but the only thing I've not like from them was the balm. Think it's popular with the youth.

Has anyone seen a cereal bowl that's deep but not mixing bowl sizedV ideally with a nice pattern / slogan on. It's for da (16) who is forever hungry as a wee joke gift

oriel2013 · 27/11/2022 05:19

@Amandasummers For pokemon cards I have generally used eBay, either to get multiple booster packs or there are lots and lots of sellers doin there own bundles. My children are 9 and 6 so also just want to collect and display in a book but are not bothered about seasons etc. There are reports of cards being fake from eBay etc but neither the kids or I would be able to tell the difference and they've not had any comments around their cards from friends either (though they don't trade at school as it was also banned like a pp experienced!)

We used this eBay seller DS birthday recently and they came in a little pack with stickers.
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204083228869?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=u1Vj3TZMRs-&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=9Vz8328NSYe&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Generally my children are desperate to find GX or EX cards (special rarer ones) and I have bought them separately on occasion to pop in a bundle like above 🙈 you can search for them on eBay and pick them up for about £2 each

@APotatoFlewAcrossTheRoomLastNightExcuseTheMess many thanks for the new balance code, I did a quick catch up last night and husband ordered a pair of his running trainers down from £140 to under £60 delivered. Not for Christmas but did make him very happy .

I've previously bought a noodle bowl from typo and although it is lovely, for actual use t's too big, so they may have something suitable?

Tinywaffle · 27/11/2022 06:36

Hello lovely bargain hunters

sorry to be a pain and ask a question but my D niece has just asked for scented candles for Xmas. Does anyone have any suggestions for what candles a 16 year old would like ( her mum has banned Yankee so can’t be those?). Also needs to be from somewhere that can post direct as I’ve had a major operation and pretty much stuck in bed until Xmas ( which is making it all very stressful have to say!)

giraffescwrf · 27/11/2022 06:54

40% cashback at George via Quidco. My first ever cashback purchase! Bought a Christmas tree so will be chuffed if the cashback links back properly!
Think it also works with the 20% off clothes.
