I'm not sure on the prices of Claire's. They have the Disney Mini Brands 5 Surprise balls RRP of £16, in the sale for £14.40. I've only ever seen these for about £8 max, and Smyths have them for £3.99 at the moment.
That's more than double what every other shop is selling them singularly for when they're at their most expensive!

They are super expensive for the branded toy type things. You're definitely right! I'd never buy them from Claires as Smyths are always miles cheaper.
