My uggs have finally shipped if anyone else's were showing out of stock but had no email, there's still hope.

40% cashback at George via Quidco. My first ever cashback purchase! Bought a Christmas tree so will be chuffed if the cashback links back properly!
Think it also works with the 20% off clothes.

Up to 25.00 maximum back I think... Thanks for that one :)

doctorboo · 27/11/2022 07:10

@Tinywaffle This is so funny, I was talking a student at work on Friday, she’s just turned 17, about Christmas gifts and she’s asked her mum for a candle with jewellery in it. The only brand I’m familiar with the is Imperial Candles as that’s what my nieces (all 20+ now) liked, so not sure if it’s still ‘current’. Sending you lots of healing vibes and I hope you have a restful Christmas.

I’ve just been on the Devon Wick site buying 15 wax snap bars I didn’t I know I needed, used the code BF for the 40% off so paid £20.99 inc postage thanks to @Elphaba17 😀

Hello lovely bargain hunters

sorry to be a pain and ask a question but my D niece has just asked for scented candles for Xmas. Does anyone have any suggestions for what candles a 16 year old would like ( her mum has banned Yankee so can’t be those?). Also needs to be from somewhere that can post direct as I’ve had a major operation and pretty much stuck in bed until Xmas ( which is making it all very stressful have to say!)

Bath & Body works from Next. Definitely the coolest brand for that age. I think they will deliver to a different address too.

Just to add to the Pokemon card chat as this has sadly been my area of mum expertise for a while now 😁I also recommend Chaos Cards, Magic Madhouse, Travelling Man for individual packs, blister packs and boxes.

If buying on eBay, look for trusted sellers who regularly sell Pokemon cards, otherwise they’re probably fake.

My son has been a fan for a few years now, he likes to collect cards and slabs and also likes to play the game. I’ve had great experiences joining Pokemon card selling/buying groups on Facebook - there are full of adults who collect and they have honestly been so kind to my son, he has had things sent to him, people have done drawings for him. There used to be a weekly fb live tombola where he was allowed an extra turn on account of being the only kid there. I say this not to encourage people to join and ask for free stuff, but just so you’re aware that there it’s often a lovely kind community like this one where this hobby is genuinely encouraged.

@Tinywaffle or Boots have a Ted Baker candle and bubble bath gift set in their 342 ?

Oh, do you have links to some of the Facebook groups?
My son got into the card game this year (after we bought the board game via this thread!) and he loves it, now goes to a regular local club.

Thank you to the poster who previously mentioned ocado. Had a delivery last night which included a game and a toy which were cheaper at ocado, bulked the order out with some M&S Chocolate, frozen mini pastries for Christmas day and my son's favourite pringles flavour which I always struggle to find and have put away ready for Christmas and New Year's buffets.

There was a £20 off a £60 spend for new customers code on my topcashback and it also tracked with a small amount of cashback so was even better value! Definitely worth a look - I'm presuming if you are a new topcashback member and get the referral bonus it would make it even better.

ArthurChristmas22 · 27/11/2022 08:00

@Tinywaffle Lush do scented candles which may hit the teen vibe? You can definitely order online from them. Wishing you a full recovery, at least you have this lovely thread to keep emptying your bank account from your bed!

AlliwantforChristmasisgu · 27/11/2022 08:02

Ocado also have Black Friday deals on some Oral B toothbrushes and heads - ends today.

Anthropologie have gorgeous candles and 30% off this weekend

Tinywaffle · 27/11/2022 08:10

Thank you everyone for all the suggestions - much appreciated.

@ArthurChristmas22 - this is a big risk! My friend even said that to me - oh no you will end up buying loads of online bargains as so bored 😂.

Has anyone seen a cereal bowl that's deep but not mixing bowl sizedV ideally with a nice pattern / slogan on. It's for da (16) who is forever hungry as a wee joke gift

typo is your friend here - perfect!

giraffescwrf · 27/11/2022 08:14

NEOM

There is a limited range on ASOS which is staking with 'all30' for up to 30% off (random).

I just got the well-being pod RRP £95, already reduced to £76, for a further 30% off. So glad I held out!

giraffescwrf · 27/11/2022 08:15

Sorry 'ALLIN' for ASOS

Prizepudding · 27/11/2022 08:16

@NormalForNuneaton , if you go down the route of using Tesco club card vouchers for a versa3, pm me. I exchanged Tesco club card vouchers in the hope of getting a new band but it turns out the Tesco vouchers can only be used on limited products. I exchanged points to get a £24 spend and I can’t use them, hoping I can pass them on to someone that can otherwise it’s a waste.

That would have been great but DP remembered he had some Nectar points so went via Argos with the hope of some cashback via quidco.

(I think he stayed up doing all his Xmas shopping in one hit last night!)

I second Typo - bought DS a deep noodle bowl from there last year for the same reason - and it says 'always hungry' on it, very fitting!

Not particularly cheap but I have bought these before and they are lovely. Doesn’t have to say popcorn on it!

@AnotherBreakfast Yep, there’s ‘Pokemon UK Sell/Trade/Buy’, ‘Pokemart UK’, ‘Pokemon Sale and Swap’.

If your son also plays Pokémon Go there’s loads of groups for raid battles in that too 😊

tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz · 27/11/2022 09:00

I can recommend the Sephora box ...

Sign up to a 12 month subscription which makes your first box .£2.95. Choose x 5 products, some of them 75ml sizes so quite decent. They come delivered in a lovely branded pouch and provided your box doesn't get damaged in transit it had the Sephora branding on the inside so turning it inside out means it's wrapped and ready! My young teen DD will be very chuffed.

Then as soon as you get the box email and they will cancel your subscription.

Mine was delivered in 3 days 😊

@Prizepudding have you contacted clubcard? I exchanged mine before for something they weren’t eligible for and they just swapped them back to points for me, think they didn’t come back on until my next update though

How did you get it to work? I entered Cyber30 and it only took off £9.90 from a £163 spend! I didn't buy. Did it work for you?

Sorry just seeing this, I think it might only work on the cyber section. I bought 5 pairs and it took around £39 off a £131 spend.
