@ginforall I must have missed bargain lego hedwig! Gutted!

Wheretowhereto · 13/11/2022 09:29

This might be a needle in a haystack request, but has anyone seen or bought any Christmas pyjama ‘shortie’ sets i.e. a top with shorts? DS10 doesn’t wear any form of trousers as he has sensory issues, and this year I’d love to find some Christmas themed pyjama shorts but drawing a blank so far.

user1466167893 · 13/11/2022 09:32

@Arewesureitisntbedtime it was me 🤦‍♀️ what site? As Ticketmaster doesn't seem to have any additional dates on it.

clpsmum whilst that looks a great site, I need a specific team in a vintage design. Thanks for trying.

Have you tried Art of Football? I’ve had a nice one from there in the past for my dad.

I have a couple of years ago, they were reduced in Poundland (or whichever pound shop has the clothing range) might be worth a look.

Delahot · 13/11/2022 09:35

Anyone seen any fab panda theme gifts for a 12 year old girl. She has the money box.

psuedocream3 · 13/11/2022 09:35

@Wheretowhereto M&S, Next, MandCo, Amazon, Joules, Matalan off the top of my head.

KeepingKeepingOn · 13/11/2022 09:37

Mini micro scooter - 15% off at Smyths

does anyone know if there are likely to be any better deals than this on eg Black Friday? 🙏

M+M Direct definitely have them.

Thanks for the tips on the Degustabox advent calendar, just order one for my dad from my mum. The perils of joint accounts - she gets me to order presents for him so he doesn’t see them on the bank statement!

BloodyMabel · 13/11/2022 09:40

What about these @Wheretowhereto Here

2lostsouls · 13/11/2022 09:40

I’ve decided I need a degustabox advent calendar but groupon is now showing at £35 - have I just been too slow?

lisa1721k · 13/11/2022 09:41

Not sure if anyone struggled to get Peter Kay tickets yesterday. I tried for ages through ticket factory for Birmingham dates. The site couldn’t handle the amount of people trying to access and was down for most of the day. Just checked this morning and there’s no queue and tickets left on many of the dates

templesit · 13/11/2022 09:42

@Myleakycauldron I think Polly pocket would suit those age ranges really well.

Do your research though as they are often reduced- last year I got the backpack one half price on Black Friday.

I've found Amazon and the entertainer do good price drops.

Clucket87 · 13/11/2022 09:48

I remember last year some people were looking for Jellycats. I have no idea about them but Temptation Gifts are doing up to 20% off then at the moment as part of their Black Friday sales.

Travelplans · 13/11/2022 09:51

Is there anywhere that does cheaper personalised books than wonderbly? DD would love something like that

IamChipmunk · 13/11/2022 09:55

I know its been mentioned on other threads but BargainMax are doing 50 days of 'deal of the day' they are on day 17, today is a Barbie extra doll. Im on the mailing list so get an email with the deal on each day. Worth keeping an eye on to see what come up.

NoWordForFluffy · 13/11/2022 08:47

I've been known to pay more for a retired set my autistic son particularly wants! 🙈

I'm hoping that Lego does the VIP points worth double thingy this Black Friday. They did it around this time last year, but I had bugger all points then. I've over 6,000 now!

Completely understand, there is no point in anything else if its not the expected item (not in a spoilt way!)

Also looks like we need a new family laptop 😭😭😭😭😭😭 ds trying to do homework and it's not working 😢

How about Ringtons? A selection of teas, coffees and biscuits for £20

It is a very simple task to get long trousers shortened?
Get it done professionally or depending on the fabric and if you have a sewing machine a really quick job
Choose wide leg not jogging style to begin with

I just had a look at trustpilot reviews for ticket factory & decided not to do it. Not used them before so others may be more confident
