I got some fat quarters today from aldi Harry potter ones, but they had all sorts of character ones. I'm thinking of getting a little sewing box together she loves things like that, she has a needle and cotton and little scrap bits so any ideas this way please!

Irritatedmum · 31/10/2022 16:58

I’m £2 away from the £20 I need on Amazon to get a £7 discount… if anyone sees a good bargain for about £2 can you let me know, cos I’m sick of browsing around now! All the stuff I’ve seen isn’t fulfilled by Amazon so doesn’t count 😡

Yeknom · 31/10/2022 17:03

@Irritatedmum Sellotape On-Hand Refills, Extra Strong Adhesive Tape, Clear Tape Refills for Arts & Crafts, Strong Tape for the On-Hand Tape Dispenser, Pack of 2 (18 mm x 15 m) amzn.eu/d0SuHka to wrap the bargains! 😁

lemonsmum · 31/10/2022 17:12

@Echojoke maybe keep your eye out for the chair game in homebargins I'm sure I got my brother it from there a couple of years ago. Think it was with the traditional looking games.

BloodierMabel · 31/10/2022 17:13

@Irritatedmum Melissa and Doug reusable sticker scenes for £3.60 Here

NormalForNuneaton · 31/10/2022 17:26

@Echojoke they've got the chair stacking game on this website for £4 plus p&p

I've never used them so no idea about reliability though

Echojoke · 31/10/2022 17:37

Thanks everyone

@Irritatedmum What sort of thing are you looking for? They do cadbury snowballs for £1, Swizzels Marshmallows 88p, stickytape, design by violet cards are around 49p each on there whic is a great price. Books? Food? They do groceries price matched with Asda usually.

psuedocream3 · 31/10/2022 18:04

If anyone still has their Amazon vouchers for £5 off £15 spend or £7 off £20 spend to pick up point to use (codes end today)... Lego dots customisable board is £10 if you tick the voucher box to collect the £7.99 savings, but the original price makes up your minimum spend, I added some marshmallowsx3 to get to free delivery threshold and the Lego dots set came to £3.44 and the marshmallows 32p each after applying the £7 off to pick up point code - total spend £4.66!

I’m that far down the Amazon rabbit hole I don’t even know!!!! Something for a 6 year old girl or anything for Christmas. I might investigate @psuedocream3’s post as well…

psuedocream3 · 31/10/2022 18:34

@Irritatedmum How about The Winston's Christmas book, it was talked about alot last year, there is a chapter to read everyday in December and an activity to do each day - I've double checked and it is the version with the activities. It's now only £4.50, never seen it this low. best price ever according to camelcamelcamel.

But something you would usually get in your grocery shop if it’s the same price. Toothpaste? Shower gel?

Blessedbethefruitz · 31/10/2022 18:54

@UserNameNameNameUser Thanks, the 4.30 wake ups are killing my brain power! Childs farm moisturiser it is!

LostMyRubySlippers · 31/10/2022 18:59

What is the best thing to do with nectar points these days? Is the double up 100% over? Guessing it’s just a matter of spending them in Sainsburys/ Argos but wanted to check if there was anything I might be missing first!!

Raindancer411 · 31/10/2022 19:17

@LostMyRubySlippers Yes no more double ups. We have been spending them on things from Argos. Got my son a desk and computer chair last Xmas with some.

torthecatlady · 31/10/2022 19:30

Vans update! My ordered is divided into 2 shipments. 3 items in one (which has been dispatched) 1 item in the other (still processing).
