What are your teenagers wanting for Christmas

I'm looking for inspiration for my 14 (nearly 15) year old daughter as I have no idea what to get her for Christmas. She has plenty of gadgets, clothes, make-up, books. It's hard to thrill her these days - beyond another puppy, but that's definitely not happening! 😆 What are your teens excited about this year? Thank you for any ideas.

Wrap up several £10 (or however much you are giving her), put one in a box and wrap, one in a padded envelope and wrap it, one in a little jewellery box and wrap, one in a pair of gloves....etc, tadah plenty to unwrap and open!

Not the best pic but for my nieces 16th i taped her money together and then fed it through a slit in the lid of a gift box, just to mix it up a bit.

She owns a cricut machine, cuts her own logos and irons them on 😂 have a look on fb marketplace. See if anyone is making personalised waterbottles etc. Chances are they own a cricut machine and can cut the nike logo for pennies

I was a big fan of the emo phase. The chav phase is expensive!

DD15 is in a very arty crafty phase at the moment so her list is all knitting needles, yarn, embroidery kits, crochet hooks, watercolour paints and paper, some fancy ass marker pens. All hideously expensive of course, thankfully I started shopping in June!

Alarming that someone calling out someone looking down on the working class is more offensive than the act of doing so itself.

DS 14 has asked for a new monitor for his computer, a Apple Watch and that’s it.. no clue as what else to get him, he’s not into sports, brands anything like that. I managed to find him 2 other things he would like but totally at a loss for stocking prezzies 😫

Working class and chav are not the same thing!

Mine has just had a new phone for her birthday, so that's out.
Im thinking of a wall tapestry for her bedroom but am stumped for ideas beyond that. She has more clothes than I can fit in her room, AirPods, an iPad, more make up than mac.

Chav is not 'offensive' term either its a lifestyle and look people actively CHOOSE which is no different to hipster, goth, punk, furry, emo, grunge, preppy, boho etc...

Im working class never been called a Chav in my entire life, I have been called 'Goff' by Chavs many time which is funny because I have bleach blonde hair and wear anything pink and sparkly... guess liking Bon Jovi makes me 'goff' lol.

Even though Im not a Goth I have never been offended by being called it either because once again style choices are not an offensive terms.

Thanks for all the suggestions, it's very helpful. I've learned a lot as some of this means nothing to me, eg, Stan Smiths, AF1s. She does like craft stuff so maybe a really fancy diamond art picture would be a good choice. An expensive one (IMO) that she had her eye on in Hobbycraft rather than a cheapie from Amazon.

@VeridicalVagabond Sounds very like my DD as she has all this stuff. She goes through phases of knitting with megachunky wool and doing embroidery, and watercolouring painting. Can you think of a new craft things that teens might like?

Re craft things, my daughter v crafty & loves her calligraphy pen set (a really lovely one, with coloured inks ) and wax stamping kit. She has a stamp with her initials & gorgeous coloured wax sticks.

She really enjoys quiet time with a hot chocolate in between xmas & new year after the madness doing thank you letters using her set & family (particularly elderly family love receiving her gorgeous hand written and wax stamped letters.

I live where there are "Chav's" on a real life council estate! I don't see OPs comment that way, at all.

I cannot afford half of what some on here can but that's life.

Anyway, for my own (grown up now) children, aged between 31 and 18, I will just be giving them all money this Christmas.

@beachcitygirl Oh, that's a good idea! I really like that. She went through a phase when younger of liking writing with a fountain pen so I can see her enjoying caligraphy. Thank you, that's inspired.
