Sainsbury's slots are now open too for delivery pass holders. At the moment you can book up to the 22nd. From tomorrow you can book 23rd and 24th.

Yes, I booked 22nd today, as we're doing the Santa train on 23rd, and I'm going shopping at sparrow's fart on 24th (collecting all of the pre-booked stuff), so need to know what was missing so I can get it at Aldi while I'm next door at Booths!

That really is beginning to sound a lot like Christmas, Fluffy! Smile

Is there a certain dino you would like? I'm going tomorrow on my way to work so can look then 😊

He has Blue, Indomious and the Brachiosaurus, so any others would be fab!

@Puffalicious i just bought 2 from Aldi for my dad that seem to be at least half the price of every other one I’ve seen and has great reviews here

Ooooh- I'm on it like a bonnet. Great recommendation- as it's faux fur too and the reviews are super. Thanks!

IggyAce · 18/10/2022 13:19

Want to miss the bargains.

Can anyone help, dd has asked for a gopro. Are there any alternatives that are any good? as she only wants it for an hour every week and £££'s!

I Got this one last Christmas for hubby for running and rollercoasters.

Action Camera 4K 24MP, Wi-Fi Underwater Camera 40M with Dual Screen, EIS, Sony Sensor, 170° Wide Angle waterproof Camera 4X Zoom helmet camera with 2 Batteries and Mounting Kits amzn.eu/7E5anp8

I only paid £69 on Black Friday so keep an eye on it. He says only negative is sound is not as good as a go pro, but video and photos are amazing.

Can I ask about a sewing machine?! My mil has taught my 8 year old to sew by hand and now she wants a machine so if anyone knows where to get a cheap but decent one for a child please let me know. I can't sew a button on so this is way out of my comfort zone!

Martinisarebetterdirty · 18/10/2022 21:25

@ImHavingAnOldFriendForDinner If it’s in budge I’d get a John Lewis machine, they are around 125/150 from memory and it will last her a long time and grow with her as well as being a nice basic machine.

Martinisarebetterdirty · 18/10/2022 21:25

Budget! not budge.

ImHavingAnOldFriendForDinner · 18/10/2022 22:47

@Martinisarebetterdirty that's great thank you. I'll have a look tomorrow. I did find some aimed specifically at children but they just looked like toys so the JL one sounds perfect.
