£15 off a minimum spend of £15 at Celtic and Co, AW22UK15. Almost positive it's generic.

2lostsouls · 17/10/2022 18:13

Beware of Very.com…. I spent an hour on the phone to them on Saturday re. an order that was meant to be delivered on Thursday, that they said Yodel had and Yodel said they didn’t. The customer service advisor was going to call me back (he didn’t). I spent another half an hour on to them today, they have cancelled the order and reordered the item. Except now the £20 off has disappeared from my account.. so I need to call them again tomorrow. Absolutely useless and would never deal with them again, I’d rather pay the £20!

Avoid unless you’ve got all day to spend on hold.

moldrum · 17/10/2022 18:13

I have got the same Celtic &co code so agree it's generic

TheCrow · 17/10/2022 18:24

The Works had some kids book boxsets at good prices in their sale, both the David Baddiel and Storey treehouse ones were £10 each.

M and M direct had what looked like good prices on kids Bench clothes in the clearance, leggings and tshirts for £5-7. There's also some Bench kids stuff in our Boyes store at the moment at less than RRP but not as bargainous as M and M

I think it was Groupon last year or Wowcher they had deals on happy nappers

Ewock · 17/10/2022 19:17

Can I pick your brains, my daughter has asked for a V-tech kidizoom print cam. they seem to be only available at Smyths and are £60. Does anyone know of other cameras which you can print pictures of straight away, I'm just not sure this is worth the money.

Blessedbethefruitz · 17/10/2022 19:30

I liked the laughing sloth stickers so much that I've done a second order of the ones with the blank space for recipient name to speed up wrapping this year! Had ordered for both the kids in the first order. New very full on job and no awake time alone in the house means very limited wrapping opportunities, and I'm not spending them tying on blooming tags and ribbons! Very much recommend, WELCOME20 FOR 20% off and free delivery for the first order in case you missed it :)

This camera was in the sale on Amazon on prime day in July and last week and I assume will be on sale on Amazon on black Friday too.

@NisekoWhistler @Someaddedsugar
Well that Sainsburys was rubbish, so if either you happen across a colossal, I'd be very appreciative if you'd get it for me.

Yalz · 17/10/2022 19:58

If you have a clearance shelf or display in your local Boots it might be worth keeping an eye on what’s there.

Mine keeps getting topped up. Today there were lots of Revolution items, many suitable for stocking fillers. Most were Love Island but some were Simpsons.

Keep an eye on the price, though, as some things I bought have gone up with the restock.

DinosaurOfFire · 17/10/2022 20:07

@thisgirlloveschristmas2022 Are you aware your links are affiliate links? And therefore you are sharing links that mean anyone who clicks through them and then browses anything on amazon through the same page sends commision and revenue to the tagged affiliate account? I just wanted to check, as there are specific referral threads for where people can share links to make money via referrals and affiliate links.

Roughasabadgersbum · 17/10/2022 20:12

My DD has asked for a togetherness bear. It's the new care Bear! Wondering if any of you lovely people have seen it for cheaper than £16 anywhere.
Thank you 💕

DinosaurOfFire · 17/10/2022 20:15

Smyths have the Shadow High dolls on offer at the moment, as well as various Rainbow High dolls. The Entertainer also had some Rainbow High dolls reduced, and Argos.

SnowJamz · 17/10/2022 20:22

@DinosaurOfFire Thanks for flagging that up. I had wondered if they were affiliate links because keeps posting very specific links but no chat which seemed unusual.

noodledoodler · 17/10/2022 20:23

Look fantastic are doing the beauty box for £12 if you subscribe and code FREEBOX gives you a free box with it. Free delivery too. You don't have to be a new customer just do the subscribe option, don't forget to cancel.

Seemed a similar posting style to a previous PP who spammed the thread.

thaegumathteth · 17/10/2022 20:28

Don't we get the affiliate links chat every year? It's Mumsnet who add it. Isn't it?

thaegumathteth · 17/10/2022 20:30

@Reastie - can you confirm re the links? Or someone else who's been around a few years?

UserNameNameNameUser · 17/10/2022 20:43

It’s MN that automatically changes Amazon links (and some others) to affiliate links.

woodwaj · 17/10/2022 20:45

@Ewock my ds has asked for the camera I've done a bit of research and I'm going for this instead. Should be slightly better prints and cheaper paper it was 20% cheaper on prime day so I'll wait for that again around black Friday

I also think the affiliate links are added by mumsnet

Reastie · 17/10/2022 20:46

Ohh, I haven't put this in the OP (sorry) but we do have a no affiliate links policy here (it was previously discussed and this was decided - I'm not sure if mn have a specific policy about affiliate links on their website). I'll amend my next intro to include this to make it clear. Sorry if this is clumsily written, just getting the dc to bed!

I read the comment and went 'Uh-oh!' It's a perennial discussion. 🙈🤣

I think some are auto-added by MN. Couldn't say which though!
