@Ewock my ds has asked for the camera I've done a bit of research and I'm going for this instead. Should be slightly better prints and cheaper paper it was 20% cheaper on prime day so I'll wait for that again around black Friday

I also think the affiliate links are added by mumsnet

This does look good and if they do 20% off then that would be amazing. Thanks for sharing

woodwaj · 17/10/2022 20:50

Happy to help @Ewock the 20% off was one of those check boxes so keep checking the actual item it won't drop automatically in your wishlist

Ewock · 17/10/2022 21:03

Good tip, I will do.

SpacehopperFace · 17/10/2022 21:13

Hi all, long time lurker here!

Has anyone seen any deals on home gel nail kits? Or can give any advice on them? Dd has asked for one, it also needs to be vegan, just to complicate matters.

Thanks in advance

Kudd.ly has an offer on their sliders, apparently great for comfort especially if you have joint issues, back pain etc. I put a pair in my basket then got distracted and didn't check out. They sent the code: KDSLDE for the following
1 for £21
2 for £25
3 for £31
4 for £35
Without the code 1 pair is £35 so it looks like a genuine discount. Only selected colours left in popular sizes and finishes tonight.

@NisekoWhistler @Someaddedsugar
Well that Sainsburys was rubbish, so if either you happen across a colossal, I'd be very appreciative if you'd get it for me.

Is there a certain dino you would like? I'm going tomorrow on my way to work so can look then 😊

Cuwins · 17/10/2022 21:47

If anyone is buying for a baby toddler then this baby Einstein drum has dropped a lot in price. Best price according the camel tracker. I have it on my daughters wish list and I'm very tempted but have really brought enough at the moment

Deal: Baby Einstein, Hape, Upbeat Tunes Magic Touch Drum, Wooden Musical Toy Instruments for Toddlers, Cause and Effect, 2 Play Modes, Sound Effects, Ages 6 Months + amzn.eu/d/55UVxKV

recklessgran · 17/10/2022 21:53

20% off at Paperchase with code WELCOMEBACK.

If you have a clearance shelf or display in your local Boots it might be worth keeping an eye on what’s there.

Mine keeps getting topped up. Today there were lots of Revolution items, many suitable for stocking fillers. Most were Love Island but some were Simpsons.

Keep an eye on the price, though, as some things I bought have gone up with the restock.

I second this. I bought lots of Lancôme foundation, concealer and blusher in a local Boots yesterday. Reduced down to £2.50 and 3 for 2. Good range of shades too.

noodledoodler · 17/10/2022 22:50

@NisekoWhistler thank you, I set the jar on the radiator tonight after the heat went off, the residual heat has softened the balm and it looks as it should now 😀

My branch has never had such good offers - or maybe they’ve sold out before I see them. Congratulations, @Lanaa!

It seems that the clearance pricing depends on the Boots branch and perhaps the staff who are putting it out. It doesn’t seem to be the same in all branches, unlike their normal stock.

Hello friends!

I can't believe you're at thread 6 already! I usually check in now - school holiday week here in Scotland, so I try to start organising. It's such a feel good thread every year, it's amazing.

Not sure if it's been covered, but looking for a good deal on a plug in heated blanket. It's for DNiece in her cold uni flat! I have one and she loves mine. Up to £50 max.

Any leads much appreciated.

Puffalicious · 18/10/2022 01:55

Mentaldays · 17/10/2022 11:11

I received this in Pandora if anyone can use it, I can PM the code

I'd love this if still available?

Thank you

KeepingKeepingOn · 18/10/2022 04:42

@Puffalicious i just bought 2 from Aldi for my dad that seem to be at least half the price of every other one I’ve seen and has great reviews here

Karatechopp · 18/10/2022 06:21

Can anyone help, dd has asked for a gopro. Are there any alternatives that are any good? as she only wants it for an hour every week and £££'s!

FilthyforFirth · 18/10/2022 06:21

I've just taken a punt on this couples book for my siblings. Could be a good idea for couples presents?

It basically gives you lots of ideas for date nights/fun things to do together. Has decent reviews on Trustpilot

They currently have 50% off and free delivery. Not sure it was worth £40 but I'm happy to try for £20!

Asda christmas slots are now open for delivery pass holders- xmas eve is already full but plenty left for the other dates

sorryiasked · 18/10/2022 06:36

@Karatechopp just search amazon for "action camera" and go by the reviews. DS has had a generic one for 2 or 3 yes now and it's been great.
Just bear in mind you'll need to buy an sd card to go in it.

Just came back to say the same thing , although i plan to do a Friday dash to the supermarket before work for the fresh fruit and veg I need over Christmas, I’d be far too stressed to see what Asda decided to substitute for everything by Christmas Eve !

RainbowZebraWarrior · 18/10/2022 07:19

Sainsbury's slots are now open too for delivery pass holders. At the moment you can book up to the 22nd. From tomorrow you can book 23rd and 24th.

Keeping, is that heated? I can't see anything in the description that says it is. Perhaps I'm going mad though. (I'm also in the market for a heated throw / electric blanket)

clouise89 · 18/10/2022 07:25

Aldi have the Minecraft/Xbox/ PlayStation lava lamps on offer, £15 for pre order, they are £29.99 everywhere else xx
