Was the Sainsburys toy sale worth it / still on?
Wondering if I should pop down today.

I'm the same! I'm only really looking for super hero toys, lightning mcqueen goods and Minion figures. Tempted to go but I don't think they'll have much for me

Mentaldays · 17/10/2022 11:11

I received this in Pandora if anyone can use it, I can PM the code

I went to my large local sainsburys yesterday and they had nothing left!

Some reduced but short-dated Jelly Belly beans and American candy on Broadway candy. I left a basket for a couple of days and got a reduced delivery code as well.

Hello, long time reader /lurker, grateful for all the bargain tips, especially loved the winter skincare boxes from Superdrug so thank you v much. I got a £15 gift voucher from Celtic and Co today I'm happy to give. Be warned, that is a pricey site, but if someone's buying anyway it may help. Dm for the code or it'll get gobbled up!

Nearlyadoctor · 17/10/2022 13:22

@Aacmum pm’d you.

stimpy1 · 17/10/2022 13:29

Ewock · 17/10/2022 14:27

The works has lots of lovely Xmas crafts for £1. And the range has some nice bits too, I picked up an xmas bauble
Dip art set for £3 in the range.

Our Sainsbury’s had superhero figures and lots of Lego superhero stuff

lightning McQueen wasn’t on the offers… best deals I’ve found for those is B&M or the entertainer

LemonFrosting · 17/10/2022 14:44

Thank you @Clarabella72 anyone know what day the sainsburys toy sale ends please?

Does anyone know anything about Happy Nappers? They seem expensive but my 5 year old is consistent in asking for months. Do they ever go down in price?

I bought Happy Nappers last year and they did a deal when you bought one and got one cheaper (£10/£15 off) That was the cheapest I could find. I got 2 large ones for £63. High St Tv. Start of Dec last year.

SnowJamz · 17/10/2022 16:01

HMV had lots of Japanese sweets/drinks and mystery food boxes at the front of the store.

And Primark have started to bring out their Christmas stuff. They had a lovely Elsa Frozen hooded blanket.

Everybodysaycheese · 17/10/2022 16:52

Went to sainsburys at the weekend and got a few bits, mainly stocking fillers (be careful of the Bluey figures/playsets on offer as some are cheaper in Argos/Amazon/Smyth's)

vjg13 · 17/10/2022 17:08

@SnowJamz Is the Elsa hooded blanket like an oodie or is it just a blanket with a hood? Do you think it would be suitable for a small adult? Thanks Smile

^ it was this one (sorry for terrible link)

Letthesunshineonin · 17/10/2022 17:15

Iceland are doing two tubs of celebrations for £5.50 using the code
OHMYCHOC
Ends midnight tomorrow but you have to spend £25 for delivery plus delivery cost or £40 for free delivery.

SnowJamz · 17/10/2022 17:16

I would think the bigger size would be suitable for small adult. They looked really big in person and much more blanket like than online.

vjg13 · 17/10/2022 17:35

Thanks @SnowJamz I am looking for more of a blanket with a hood. Like the hooded towels you use when they are babies. I have seen some at New Look but I have a Frozen fan still so always interested in Frozen items. They have both got oodies from a few years ago and they are excellent.

one more to tick off the list!

Emiliemoo · 17/10/2022 17:55

@PumpkinSpicedTea
We bought 2 Happy Nappers for a deal from High St TV last year. I can't remember the exact details, I'm sure probably the same as pp.

My two have been used so much, it was definitely worth it for us. Sometimes as a sleeping bag and often as an extra big cushion but lots of use overall
