Stumbled across this 3 in 1 Lego creator owl/rabbit squirrel set reduced to £9 on Amazon - looks like quite a good deal

20% off everything here, including a wide range of Jellycats which aren't often reduced.

@NCAutumn Iv always found the best Japanese sweets in the oriental supermarkets in my local city centre. They have a huge selection. My daughter went through a stage of loving everything kawaii and Japanese sweets.

If you can’t get into your local town then I also bought her a Japanese mystery box from Amazon which was fairly good.

like these…

My daughter loved the mystery boxes as you never knew what you were going to get and most of it she liked.

Bargain at zavvi on Christmas tshirts, 2 for £10. Ive ordered jurassic park, rick & morty, star trek and Harry potter ones for us. Loads to choose from, perfect for Christmas dress up days, and more practical than itchy jumpers!

They had quite a few that weren't obviously Christmas more wintery and also nightmare before christmas ones that just had a print so could be worn all year round by fans!!

There was ladies, mens and kids ones all included 😊

Don't forget there is a further 10% off if you sign up to Zavvi via a referral link. I have added mine to the referral board.

CakeCrumbs44 · 16/10/2022 08:59

Asda have some Lego sets reduced quite a bit, and then a further cashback if you have the rewards card. Some of these will be better than 50% off with both.

The t-shirts look great. does anyone know what the sizing is like? I'm usually a 20.

wonderingwhatsnext · 16/10/2022 09:26

Me too @Ewock . The size guide says 3xl is a 20 but when I filter by size it gives me loads of things not available in that size.

Turtleoo · 16/10/2022 10:03

No idea what this company is like but popped up on my Facebook ads and seem to be half price at the moment. They tickled me so had to share!

You're doing better than me I couldn't even see the size guide 😂 I'll filter and have a look. Thanks so much

Some absolutely gorgeous ones. Dd loves a jellycat but she also has more soft toys than The Entertainer ATM.

I must say, the little veg ones bring a right smile to my face. If I was rich, I'd buy them all!

UrbanMage · 16/10/2022 10:34

Also, spent too much in Primark and none of it for Christmas. Dd needed a lot of basics like long sleeved t-shirts and cosy leggings.

The lakeside one has a decent sized Christmas section in the home area, and there were some gorgeous winter PJs for women and kids. The younger girls section had some Christmas outfits in for about £10-15.

The men's was a bit disappointing. Some good NFL and other US sports items if that would make a good gift. Not bad prices too. But limited in the festive themed clothes from what I could see.

The lakeside one also had a new range of bath stuff that would make cheap stocking fillers for tweens. They looked quite nice. And they had a big fragrance section that smelled pretty decent.

MammaRoly · 16/10/2022 10:50

Thanks to the poster for the heads up on the Debenhams sale - not Christmassy but I managed to get x8 tees for DS for £33 with free delivery. I went through Topcashback as well although I couldn't get my Blue Light Card discount to stack with the free delivery code but still a bargain.

River island have 20% off sale items today. I saw a lovely bag in there the other day which was still quite expensive for my DD so I've just called them & they've put one aside for me. Might be worth a look if you are out shopping today

TREAT15 gives you 15% off at Vanilla Underground. It is just their Halloween section but they have Stranger Things etc so still could work for Christmas stuff.

I've only just come across this site. Got DS1 a Sonic Hoodie from there. Came quickly and looks good

I've no idea what the company or product are like but I saw this on HUKD and figured it was worth a punt for £2.99 delivered (code PLUS gives you free delivery)

Matcha green tea skincare

WheresTheCoffee · 16/10/2022 12:34

Thank for the lego tip@CakeCrumbs44I got DS a lego techic set for £30 instead of £45 with free click and collect!

Yalz · 16/10/2022 12:41

I’m not sure about the crocodile socks company.
The photo seems to be from this knitting pattern.

Ravelry (an online group for knitters/crocheters/patterns plus much more) often has reports of Facebook sellers stealing photos of knitting patterns for sale on there and claiming those photos as their own product. You might not receive anything which looks as good as those socks.

Although the company seems to have a .co.uk email address, the English in the product description doesn’t seem to be written by a native speaker (someone who grew up speaking English).

LostMyRubySlippers · 16/10/2022 12:41

John Lewis have free click & collect on all orders until 19th Oct- rather than the usual minimum spend

Yalz · 16/10/2022 12:47

Here are patterns on Ravelry for crocodile, chameleon and fish socks.

Oddly enough, that animal socks seller from Facebook seems to be using the same photos.

Thanks for the link. Bought a couple of skincare sets and a few more bits from the clearance section of random stuff which I didn’t know I needed
The code PLUS took postage down to 1.99 which is a bit of a saving
