To the person looking for Japanese sweets…HMV sell them, or my local one does, they also have cans of drinks too and some of the weird kitkat flavours. I a, going to get my DD’s a few bits closer to Christmas. We also have a shop, my DD’s call ‘the geek shop’ that’s sells a few Japanese food items.

@Haudyourwheesht my dd has always enjoyed dancing, we have lots of the just dance games for the wii. We have disney junior, dance juniors and just dance. You can pick up a second hand wii for £25 in cex and the games are a few pounds each. I'm fairly sure there's also a singing game with microphones too, never played it as not for us! Usually people give away wii consoles and games or sell cheap on facebook too.

Or depending on budget you could get a nintendo switch with just dance. We have just bought just dance for the switch as my husband already had the console.

Groupon have some good deals atm. I just logged in and there was a code for 50% off certain experiences. I've just booked a champagne afternoon tea & spa access & treatment for £130 for 2 people at a lovely hotel near me. I'm pretty pleased with that. There's also a 20% off code which can be used on lots of things. Think I might rebook the afternoon tea my mum & I missed out on due to Covid.

Well, I received my two Pokemon books from WHSmiths 🤣🙄🤯. The rest of the order has been cancelled but they have yet to refund me. Terrible customer service as it makes so little sense - all this over a 20% discount!

Well I don't know what you're all talking about with WH Smith being terrible..... I just received a parcel from them..... from an order I made about a year ago when we all had massive discounts - it was intended for last Xmas!! Luckily DD6 will still like it so she'll get it this year but seriously!?! A year!?! 😂😂😂 Nearly as bad as appliance direct who finally delivered my oven (also ordered for last Xmas!!) this week after delivering it damaged 5 times! Good things come to those who wait eh!

Joining the whsmith grumps. I did reorder because the advent calendar I want is £7 more on amazon and the bonus is I now get 10% off. I dont look forward to merrily returning the other £30 of order when it arrives as I'd only added it to the order as they had 20% off before so I reordered the whole thing havig soent over an hour trying to get past the free delivery threshold the first time I ordered.

I presume they must have.... To be honest I hadn't noticed it missing But checking my orders it was November last year and not even an email to say it was delayed - I know I should have kept better track but seriously! .... a year is really pushing it!! Quite glad I didn't order any this year!

I was once accused of shop lifting at WHSmith when I complained about them stocking 'lads mags' next to the children's comics. I was held in a small room with my 2 DC aged 2 and 3 for 2 hours. The police told the manager off and let me go and apologised. Please don't shop at WH Smiths

Bargain at zavvi on Christmas tshirts, 2 for £10. Ive ordered jurassic park, rick & morty, star trek and Harry potter ones for us. Loads to choose from, perfect for Christmas dress up days, and more practical than itchy jumpers!

They had quite a few that weren't obviously Christmas more wintery and also nightmare before christmas ones that just had a print so could be worn all year round by fans!!
