Here are patterns on Ravelry for crocodile, chameleon and fish socks.

Oddly enough, that animal socks seller from Facebook seems to be using the same photos.

Oo nice detective work. Definitely suspicious that they are using the same photos. I won't be ordering!

Sorry, the free delivery code is ; HUKDFREEDEL

Yalz · 16/10/2022 13:47

I have messaged the designer about the animal-sock-selling apparently-photo-stealing company, who I now see have Chinese symbols in their URL.

Could you report them to Facebook, or give me a way to report them, perhaps with a screenshot of their advert on your FB page? Now I’ve asked that they probably won’t show you the advert again, though.

Turtleoo · 16/10/2022 14:10

@yalz will take a screenshot if I see it again, and report

Thorilicious · 16/10/2022 14:25

I've just picked this up from Hobbycraft for my son. Scanned at £25, but I showed them the price online, and they matched it for me.

Thank you, @Turtleoo

@psuedocream3 , if it’s the animal socks you mean, then Aliexpress may be using an unsuspecting pattern designer’s pictures rather than photos of the socks they are actually selling.

I think my youngest might like a how to draw manga/anime book. Would be aimed at 9/10 year olds. Does anyone have any recommendations? I see loads on Amazon

LEGO 11017 Classic Creative Monsters, Construction Playset with 5 Mini Build Monster Toys, Bricks Box Building Set, Gifts for Kids 4 Plus Years Old amzn.eu/d/ceovANa

Little cheap Lego set for young ones on Amazon for less than £7, think it would be good for kids friends where I don't want to spend a fortune!

The Faber Castell Manga starter set is really good, comes with a little mannequin that you can use to pose and draw. My niece loved it. It's showing quite expensive on Amazon at the moment - I think I must have got it at a discount last Xmas, so maybe it will have an offer at some point.

Lots of different Christmas pjs in primark

newroundhere · 16/10/2022 18:42

Hatley have some nice rainwear and kids umbrellas in the sale and it seems to be free postage (even though they're posting from Canada!)

This cars umbrella is down from £17 to £6.80 and the matching wellies are £15 (although they don't have many sizes left).

VelvetThunder · 16/10/2022 18:44

Sainsburys you sale have been reduced further. We managed to get this imaginext Jurassic world set for £21.
Also, Smyth's had some good bargains. We managed to get some encanto dolls for £10.99 each. I know some people struggle to get these. Also some animal crossing headphones for £6.99.

Don’t know how easy it would be to get it back from HOF but if you return a whole order they have to refund your delivery charge, it’s part of the distance selling regulations I think.

Did you happen to notice if the super colossal t rex or carnatoro was reduced further? I saw it for £40 yesterday but still couldn't justify it, if its reduced further I will make the trip to get one of them for dd2!

We picked up the t rex and a carnotorous or gigantosours (not sure which) for £25 each in Sainsbury's today!
