@carriemoonbeams Thanks for website recommendation! I make DH an advert calendar each year too and always get some US or Japanese sweets to put in.

I immediately thought of the Japan Centre for Japanese sweets as it is awesome. However, I am not sure on the pricing whether it’s really expensive. I just used to love visiting it when I lived in London.

I was in Primark last week, they are starting to get their Xmas stock in. I did find a lovely Festive fragrance diffuser, it's a small one and 80p. I've bought a few of them in other fragrances before and they are really nice not overpowering.

Just a browse at my local Sainsburys toy sale - nothing we need but 50% off some big things, including Sylvanian Families (only noticed Bluebell Cottage set down to £35) and a playmobil rescue set thing. Definitely worth a look!

For Japanese sweets and drinks, if you’re in the midlands there is Wing Yip in Birmingham which is a massive Chinese supermarket but also has some Japanese bits. You also occasionally get a couple of bits in Poundland/B&M etc

Sorry, there’s also a Japanese sweet subscription box you can get. I’ve used Tokyo Treat as I got a good deal a couple of years ago. I think there’s others too. I just signed up for one box then cancelled

I have never used groupon but had a look yesterday with the 30% off and got an hours axe throwing for 2 for £16.95 and was delighted and ds 22 will love it as an extra birthday present.
