Ho ho ho and welcome to the bargain Christmas thread - home of the discounts for Christmas shopping.

Title is inspired by the turtle doves/gloves and in my head it's set to the 12 days of Christmas. I'm actually tempted for us to think up a new 12 days of Christmas nearer the time with all of our best bargains Grin

If you have a referral link for a website, do post it on this thread

See post 2 for some (hopefully) useful links.

@Famousthehero I’ve bought some pants, too, plus some beeswax wraps which were also on offer. Thank you for the discount code.

Chevyimpala67 · 27/09/2022 18:25

Thanks for the hobbycraft half price heads up...I got ds2 some posca pens :)

My own recommendations are:

www.awesomebooks.com - 2nd hand abs new books, they donate books for purchases :) free delivery too. I'm using them instead of amazon :)

Escentual.com have a few really cute make up sets quite heavily discounted atm. I've bought a make up palette and cute little bird that contains lip gloss :)

If you love perfume do check out 4160tuesdays for niche perfume and samples/vouchers. They do a 3for 2 usually emd of November which is really good. The free perfume can be the most expensive!

Has anyone ever seen any offers on Cricut joy bundles?
Dd10 loves crafts and I think this would be perfect for her

PeachTea1 · 27/09/2022 21:05

@Closedlips Eleanor Bowmer have just launched a zodiac collection, they’ve got some fun make up bags

NickMyLipple · 27/09/2022 21:10

@Ironess - I’m also looking for a Cricut but probably the maker…. Not seen anything particularly bargainous just yet but apparently they do an excellent Black Friday sale in the USA so I’m hoping to see similar deals here….!

DeeofDenmark · 27/09/2022 21:12

@chocolateisavegetable how did you find those bargains, I can’t see a sale section on Dunelm.

Ehunt1 · 27/09/2022 21:14

@Ironess @NickMyLipple I got a cricut maker with extras from Costco last year. It worked out a really good deal, I think they did a deal on the cricut joy too.

chocolateisavegetable · 27/09/2022 21:18

@DeeofDenmark go to their homepage them scroll down until you see a yellow box that says “up to 50% off”

Purpleheadgirl · 27/09/2022 21:18

Hobbycraft often do deals on cricut of all types - bound to be something on black friday, but also have noticed rymans randomly do good deals too

Haudyourwheesht · 27/09/2022 21:38

Thanks for the new thread. Smile

torthecatlady · 27/09/2022 22:51

Lush have got their Snow Fairy range out ready for Christmas! Not a bargain but smells amazing!

Gilead · 27/09/2022 23:06

Oh @Deckthewallswithpaintandplaydough , I hope things improve rapidly. Poor wee mite.

BeaLola · 28/09/2022 00:31

TwinsAndTiramisu · 27/09/2022 11:28

I can remember from previous years, there was a bargainous Christmas jigsaw. I need one this year (minumum 500 pieces, preferable 1000) but hunting on Amazon I can't find that one anymore or a really good priced one this year, so if anyone knows of anything, would be very grateful of the heads up...

Keep an eye on George's of Whitstable - they usually have a great selection and gave various offers in lead up to Christmas - great service too

Next has further reductions on some of its sale items.

There are some Bath and Body Works items which might make good presents. A few were £16 until recently but are now £4. These include shower gel and body lotions, in women's and men's fragrances.

I like the Bath & Body Works Sunshine Mimosa Ultimate Hydration Body Cream 226g
"Cheers to happiness! Your favorite body cream — now with hyaluronic acid, which attracts water and moisturizes so skin feels hydrated. Also made with shea butter, this dermatologist-tested, 24-hour Ultimate Hydration Body Cream has a rich, luxe text. "

Text? Texture?

You can get the matching fragrance and shower gel for £4 each, too. Or, you can buy them the three items for full price in a box for £32.50.

Free click and collect in store.
