Ho ho ho and welcome to the bargain Christmas thread - home of the discounts for Christmas shopping.

Title is inspired by the turtle doves/gloves and in my head it's set to the 12 days of Christmas. I'm actually tempted for us to think up a new 12 days of Christmas nearer the time with all of our best bargains Grin

If you have a referral link for a website, do post it on this thread

See post 2 for some (hopefully) useful links.

Is there still a turtle dove thread?

AnastasiaBeverlyBeaverhausen · 28/09/2022 12:30

Hi does anyone have a disneycode? Think I missed the previous ones and DD wants a brave dress but they are so expensive! Thanks 😀

Out of interest which one do you think you'll buy? The silver and discovery are quite restricted on dates. The gold looks good but obviously you pay a premium for it.

I think the Gold or silver depending on what price I can get them for! Silver is quite restricted (e.g. whole of August).

Thanks all for your comments - I will wait for the next Merlin sale!

DaffodilsInAJamjar · 28/09/2022 12:36

Free delivery at M&Co today with their new website. There are some mens Christmas jumpers in the sale. TopCashback too

Newjobnewstart · 28/09/2022 12:43

If you are buying anything from GAME - check Sports Direct as well. My DS wants a pacman arcade game which is £160 from Argos, checked game and it was £79.99 - found it on Sports Direct for 59.99 - and it is being fulfilled by GAME so quite a difference in price.

InDreamland · 28/09/2022 12:48

This Playmobile 123 garbage truck is £13. A good buy according to camelcamelcamel lowest price ever just 50p less.

Startuplife · 28/09/2022 12:54

Does anyone know if Uniqlo ever does anything discount wise? I saw some lovely winter jumpers in there the other day which would make good presents for older family members but can’t ever bring myself to pay full price!

Hi!

I'm looking for a set of Frozen bedding in a single as a gift, cheapest I can find is £15... anyone have any magical (pardon the pun!) tricks or ideas please?

Thanks!

Primark had loads of Disney bedding sets for £10/12, pretty sure there was a frozen one there.

Flubadubba · 28/09/2022 13:05

Not a huge bargain, but my local Sainsburys had a selection of the 7.5" Squishmallows today for £8.

mummyof2boys30 · 28/09/2022 13:43

Is there such a thing as a cheap to run, quiet mini fridge. Ds would love one and i always say no. We literally are out of ideas this year 🙈

mac1974 · 28/09/2022 13:46

The Argos Lego discounts are great. Tempted by the Minecraft llama Lego but I don't know where we would put it

mac1974 · 28/09/2022 14:03

Totally caved and ordered the Lego. It is on my DDs list so she will be thrilled

CarrotCarrotCucumber · 28/09/2022 14:04

@Startuplife I haven't checked recently, but they used to do discounts for the first purchase in app, and for joining their mailing list. They do cut a lot off in the sales, but tend to run out of stock in popular sizes and colours first. I've found it better to buy in store as the jumpers have been variable in size and thickness over the past few years, and I think they stopped free returns. Both the merino and lambswool can be very good when they're on form, however.

Towards the bottom, is printed the date for me local store to have their rewards event. £10 of points, when you spend £60 or more. My local one is October 21st-24th.
£12 worth of points available with the vouchers too.

@AnastasiaBeverlyBeaverhausen - there are cheaper versions than the Disney store. Amazon have them £12-15, very has one for under £20. Not identical to the Disney store. Or secondhand on eBay.

Depending on her age and preferences there are also gorgeous fairy dresses in t k maxx - this looks like the right colour. www.tkmaxx.com/uk/en/kids+toys/toys/fancy-dress+pretend-play/fancy-dress/green+blue-fairy-fancy-dress-set/p/45404820

Here you all are! Thought the last thread had gone quiet.... didn't realise there was a new one. Gosh we're moving quickly this year.

chocolateisavegetable · 28/09/2022 15:20

Debenhams have some lovely candles with up to 50% off and free delivery today with the code

Needtostartover · 28/09/2022 16:00

Saw these reduced due to short shelf date (assuming the chocolate). This was in John Lewis Westfield (Shepherd’s Bush) but may be worth checking other John Lewis stores too. There were quite a few in two sections (1 near the food/drink gifts and some near the kitchen gadget section).

Someone on the last thread was looking to replace their that their daughter had submerged in the sink? This may help with the replacement.

smootholive · 28/09/2022 16:12

Someone in the last thread was looking for zodiac items and I’ve just had this email through from vans. Unsure if it would be appropriate.

@mummyof2boys30 I bought this one in Jan for my little boy. It's quiet, I still have to play his white noise fan over it!

I'm sure somebody was looking for a blanket with arms earlier in the thread.
This was on the Debenhams website £11.99. X
