Ho ho ho and welcome to the bargain Christmas thread - home of the discounts for Christmas shopping.

Title is inspired by the turtle doves/gloves and in my head it's set to the 12 days of Christmas. I'm actually tempted for us to think up a new 12 days of Christmas nearer the time with all of our best bargains Grin

@NaturalBlondeYeahRight how did you get £1 delivery at Boohoo? It’s £3.99 for me.

Absolutesuperstar · 04/10/2022 20:25

Does anyone know what the Oodie Black Friday offers were last year? There’s a Harry Potter oodie for £59 reduced from £94 but I wonder if it might be worth waiting for a better deal.

Worriedmum40284 · 04/10/2022 20:28

Lego flowers reduced at Amazon - have been on my to buy list for DM for a while so happy with this: LEGO 10280 Flower Bouquet, Artificial Flowers, Set for Adults, Decorative Home Accessories, Idea, Botanical Collection amzn.eu/d/6OdrJqN

PathOfLeastResitance · 04/10/2022 21:43

@UrbanMage surely small dogs count! Welcome little woof!

I have just bought two of the craft gin boxes for £41.99 and will cancel the subscription (or not, depending on the behaviour of my children and if I need medicinal gin). It’s on until midnight so not much time on that one. I’m going to split the pieces up for various hampers.

IggyAce · 04/10/2022 21:45

Amazon have the Lego Marvel Spider-Man attack on the spider lair down to £55.99. That’s the main thing ticked off ds list.

christmaspudding43 · 04/10/2022 22:06

Just jumping in to ask opinions on Oodies for my nieces. One is 12, I have already decided to get her a branded Oodie. The other is 5 and I'm on the fence about whether to get her a branded one or a cheaper one, partly because someone said even the kids' ones are massive, but mostly if I'm honest because I don't know if the money would be wasted on her. I feel awful writing that, it seems very blunt! But she's obviously not yet at the age where brands matter (and of course that is a whole separate issue in itself, I know).

Carrie76 · 04/10/2022 22:19

@christmaspudding43 i got Oodies for my kids last year, eldest 11 for the real thing and the 6 and 9 year old got ones from Next. They all love them and wear them loads, the next ones are fab and I think perfect for younger kids. I think the real thing would be too heavy

chillimice · 04/10/2022 22:46

I can't remember which one of these threads had the radio times offer. Payment has now been taken and I am awaiting my first issue. Just wanted to know when is best to cancel? Do I need to do it after payment or nearer the end of the trial?

I think that only works on men's things so I just paid delivery. It was a good price anyway . In case anyone n is interested, boohoo also had plain colour cotton women's legging pyjamas ( there was black and pink) sets for £12.50 which I got for DD (because mine was the only size theyd sold out in.)

STom2 · 05/10/2022 07:03

@sheknowtheyrhinestones That's a decent deal. Is the idea to keep it going until the Christmas copy comes? Wonder how long the offer runs for.

Apologies if it was a one time discount, but did someone share one for Dunelm? I have a basket full and anything would be helpful! Thank you!

Also, the Joules ebay outlet has some great things on it at at the moment. I got a nice brushed cotton shirt and some boxers for DH, both with big discounts. Sorry I'm not sure how to share the link.

I bought the next kids hooded poncho as a birthday gift. Unicorn print though I can’t see that one on the site now. I was very pleased with it. Warm but not too thick and big but not too big. The child I bought it for loves it.
