Ho ho ho and welcome to the bargain Christmas thread - home of the discounts for Christmas shopping.

Title is inspired by the turtle doves/gloves and in my head it's set to the 12 days of Christmas. I'm actually tempted for us to think up a new 12 days of Christmas nearer the time with all of our best bargains Grin

If you have a referral link for a website, do post it on this thread

See post 2 for some (hopefully) useful links.

@RoonilWazlib21 Thanks so much for the Boohoo tip. I previously bought nice make up bags for the granddaughters. Didn't intend to fill em up 😬😂. So bargainess!!

FluffyFluffMonster · 04/10/2022 13:43

@mac1974 they come with a blue bow but minimal packaging I think due to environmental reasons. They are lovely though. I have 2 but want some more.

HollyJollyXmas57 · 04/10/2022 13:53

What am I missing?

I can’t find anything on Debenhams for boohoo for less then £5!

cooolio · 04/10/2022 13:59

There are plenty bikinis left but no make up. It's all been snapped up!

That’s why I couldn’t find anything then! 😂

Thanks for this!

FluffyFluffMonster · 04/10/2022 14:51

Does anyone have a link for the boohoo stuff as I can't find it

Just seen it's all gone

NoDairyNoProblem · 04/10/2022 15:03

@Yeknom Smiggle, Lego friends/Harry Potter and barbie acessories calendars have all been popular here.

Yeknom · 04/10/2022 15:06

@NoDairyNoProblem sorry I meant yearly wall calendars to write on 🙈! But smiggle is a great shout I wonder if they do one!

Mumto3thatsme · 04/10/2022 15:16

Popped in to TK Maxx today and noticed they had some oodie style loungewear in for £19.99, was tempted for myself but psyching myself up to pop up Primark as want to get one for Fil. They also had some zip up styles which may be more practical for some.

Also Asda have their toy rollback on currently, and if you spend over £25 using the Asda rewards app you’ll get £2.50 back in to your cashpot

BestofLuck · 04/10/2022 15:28

Argos have the Lego Friends funfair roller coaster set half price for £45.

Lurleene · 04/10/2022 15:37

Sorry if this has already been posted, I missed it if so. Boots Tenner Tuesday has this Kat Von D palette for just £10 today instead of €38. Online only. Kat Von D palette

@Yeknom 🤦🏻‍♀️.

DD’s is from Etsy and DD2’s is from Amazon this year.

thaegumathteth · 04/10/2022 16:53

Debenhams also have quite a few Yankee candle products in their sale

1122christy · 04/10/2022 17:13

I know someone said before about the IWOOT sale but it's still ongoing and I got some good things, just incase anyone is after similar. I got Cluedo Nightmare before Christmas version for £21.99, friends jigsaw £4.99 and Lego New York skyline for £37.99. Thought these were good prices plus I got free delivery not sure if it was certain items or over a certain price

I know a few people have asked about Yoto discounts recently. There are codes on referral thread (mine included!) but they are also now on Topcashback with 10.5% on players and 5.25% on cards.

Thanks so much for Debenhams Boohoo tip. I clearly got in fast with 17 items for £9.50, mostly for my own stocking! Now desperately hoping it isn't cancelled 😂

10in10 · 04/10/2022 19:12

Bath of Lego dots for £2.60. Seems like a good stocking filler.

Can anyone please recommend a bargainous way to do a make up/beauty advent for a tween (who is not at all bothered about brands). I was looking at the little something stuff which is half price at boots but can you clever lot think of anything better or have seen any good made up versions anywhere?! Thank youSmile

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 04/10/2022 19:45

I've just seen some of the boohoo beauty bargains on the actual boohoo site with £1 delivery. Go through TopCashback as well. Nothing quite as low as 30p but some low prices.

www.boohoo.com/womens/beauty?srule=price-low-to-high&start=40&sz=40

ColeslawSandwich · 04/10/2022 19:58

@chillimice don’t forget to ask for samples at perfume/make up counters.

Poundland do brand makeup, in slightly odd colours at times, often x3 for £1 in a little cellophane bag. You can get packs of 8 or 12 makeup brushes for £5 on Amazon (read reviews to find ones that don't shed). I've been collecting perfume samples for my daughter for little stocking fillers.

cooolio · 04/10/2022 20:02

@chillimice just go and ask for samples at make up counters.

Bodycare for 99p nail polish. Home bargains for little bath bombs and face masks.

Quite often companies will send you a free sample if you email with your address too

Gastheif · 04/10/2022 20:11

@chillimice pound stores do make up. Some own brand stuff but very often branded. Lots of the beauty subscriptions have cheap first boxes and look at latest free stuff on Facebook for beauty samples. Pinterest for ideas to make it look nice
