Ho ho ho and welcome to the bargain Christmas thread - home of the discounts for Christmas shopping.

Title is inspired by the turtle doves/gloves and in my head it's set to the 12 days of Christmas. I'm actually tempted for us to think up a new 12 days of Christmas nearer the time with all of our best bargains Grin

If you have a referral link for a website, do post it on this thread

See post 2 for some (hopefully) useful links.

Is this easy to cancel?

It was very easy. I waited until the postage charge showed up on my bank account and then did it. Hopefully the free box will still arrive!

@Cuwins Thanks for the Gap tip! They deliver for free to any Next store - helpful?

kiwi17 · 01/10/2022 22:19

Anyone know of any codes for LUSH please? 😊

TheCrow · 01/10/2022 22:20

Can't remember who was asking about dairy free Christmas chocolates but Aldi had their dairy free selection box in stock the other day, think it was £3.99

boobybum · 01/10/2022 23:33

Not sure whether you need to already have an account (or could set up a new one) but the following codes give money off at La Redoute until 3rd October -

SAVE50 for £50 off a £90 spend
SAVE40 for £40 off a £60 spend
SAVE30 for £30 off a £50 spend
EVERYTHING40 for 40% any spend

They appear to work with items already on sale too so some real bargains to be had.

That was me but it was specifically chocolate coins. Thanks though

Have your tried M&S? They had a section yesterday and we’re filling up the Xmas stuff with Dairy Free lollies and there may well have been coins (I was wrangling a small child at the time) it was on the shelves below the Xmas Percy pigs and Colin’s in our stores

Cuwins · 02/10/2022 07:40

@Clarabella72 thank you. I will have a look when I'm in town tomorrow

Juggling123 · 02/10/2022 07:58

Finally have something bargainous to add - normally too slow and someone beats me to it
yankee have up-to 50% off diffusers with code ‘diffuser’ not sure how these rate against the neom ones but certainly cheaper!

Yankee

Babynumberthreeee · 02/10/2022 08:02

I can't remember what the consensus was on the aldi velvetisers, but if they are any good then they are in the special buys Instore and online from next week.

10in10 · 02/10/2022 08:18

Used CRAFTOBER5 to get this mini sewing machine from hobby craft for £12.50. Bargain!! Main present for my daughter!! Thanks to whoever posted the code.

First time posting here but have loved reading these threads recently! The echo dot kids is down to £25 which is the cheapest it's been in the last year according to camels. I was considering getting one for my nearly four year old and probably will as it seems a bargain even if he doesn't love it - but does anyone have one and is it any good? I was thinking he might like it for telling stories and playing music in his room... not actually sure what else it does or really how it works beyond that!

Turtleoo · 02/10/2022 08:33

Thanks to pp on a previous thread who mentioned the Little Bargain Hunter on Facebook. Am loving checking her lists every morn. Does anyone have any other bargain accounts worth following?

Dreamingofwalden · 02/10/2022 08:45

Mrs Buttons dairy free choc

I went to an event at my local RHS yesterday and got conned into buying the kids a jar of chocolate buttons. They were delicious and in the bag was a leaflet with details of her dairy free options. Not a bargain but if anyone buying dairy free wants to treat someone this could be a good option.

NoWordForFluffy · 02/10/2022 08:50

@Dreamingofwalden, I was going to say that I buy Moo Free in response to your message, then saw that Mrs Buttons uses their chocolate!

There aren't any chocolate coins, but Moo Free has a decent Christmas range which is mostly sitting in a box in my bedroom right now.

I'll stick my referral code on the referral thread for 5% off (I get something too, but it's a new scheme so I can't recall what)!

NoWordForFluffy · 02/10/2022 08:51

Oh, turns out the referral only works on specific SM platforms, so I can't use it on here. That's annoying.

My 7yo has an echo in her room, she uses it for music, asking what the weather will be like, asking it to tell jokes, how to spell stuff. Be warned you'll want them everywhere! We have them in most rooms now and you can send announcements "dinner is ready!" too. Ours also link to plugs (cheap on Amazon Black Friday) to turn on lamps etc. You won't regret it!

ClaraLane · 02/10/2022 08:54

I got an email from Printerpix this morning offering me a free medium (30 x 40 inch) mink photo blanket with the code MEDIUMFREEBLANKET as long as I paid £10.99 for postage. Just ordered one for my husband with a load of family photos on.

John Lewis has 20% off some Lancome beauty products. I had 20% off with my John Lewis card this month and it stacked with the discount. Free click and collect at the moment too.

PeachTea1 · 02/10/2022 09:26

ASOS have up to 30% off with the code HAUL - lots of brands included Nike, Adidas, Dr Martens

I got one last year and had to send it back after a couple of weeks because it stopped working so I wouldn't really recommend sorry 😞 However I replaced it with a real one because it completely convinced us that it was worth having one. Not bargainous for sure but haven't regretted it.

gobblegobblenibblenibble · 02/10/2022 09:37

Thanks @NotPennysBoat off to order one now!

gobblegobblenibblenibble · 02/10/2022 09:42

Oh no have just seen they're releasing a new version on 20 October but it's £65 🙄 wonder should I wait and will it maybe be reduced in Black Friday sale 🤔
