Ho ho ho and welcome to the bargain Christmas thread - home of the discounts for Christmas shopping.

Title is inspired by the turtle doves/gloves and in my head it's set to the 12 days of Christmas. I'm actually tempted for us to think up a new 12 days of Christmas nearer the time with all of our best bargains Grin

Thanks for the Smiggle tip!

Can anyone remind me of the place that has similar stationery but much cheaper? I was going to but the Smiggle advent calendar but I'm wondering if I could create my own for cheaper!

Tesco are selling off lots of smiggle stationary from back to school for very little. Aldi do similar too.

NoDairyNoProblem · 01/10/2022 12:50

Just ordered the ech dot from Amazon- free prime delivery tomorrow.

Thanks for the Hobbycraft code. Posca pens for £3!

GAP have 50% off quite a lot of stuff. A lot of cute baby clothes but also womens etc too.

What's the hobbycraft code I can't find it? Thanks

FrenchieMum2Be · 01/10/2022 13:19

@LaTangerina it's CRAFTOBER5

Cuwins · 01/10/2022 13:25

Yes Bebe have a sale on. Didn't see anything for us but they do have bath slime 50% off which would make a good stocking filler.

Theraffarian · 01/10/2022 13:32

@tabbycat985 thanks for the stationary link , I have a few potential recipients depending on which box they send , but looks good .

uncomfortablydumb53 · 01/10/2022 13:34

Thank you for the Oodies tip.. I've just bought 2 for £89 for DS1 who wanted a real one over the Sienna one I bought for £16!

Wonderfulstuff · 01/10/2022 13:39

@newmumtotwo24 - we went with the Tidlo kitchen that comes in components - this meant that we were able to ask grandparents to gift a component too. It's easy to put together and good quality. I particularly like that it's not really painted so doesn't chip like some of the others. Nearly 3 years on it's still in perfect condition even though it's really well played with.

Beyond that my parents have the John Lewis kitchen which is lovely (picked up for £20 on maketplace) and a friend has a large Asda ktichen which is always popular.

ConsuelaHammock · 01/10/2022 14:11

Lego minifigure book is £8 atm on Amazon.

MerylSqueak · 01/10/2022 14:39

Sass and Belle have a sale on. There was quite a lot at 50% off on the things I was looking for (for me! )

Talisin · 01/10/2022 15:10

tabbycat985 · 01/10/2022 07:37

For any stationary buffs, Papergang are offering first box free, just pay postage of £2.95! The boxes look really lovely & are normally £20🤨

It is a subscription so remember to cancel!!

Thanks, this looks great. Have just ordered!

hoopdeloop · 01/10/2022 16:13

Can anyone remind me of the Yankee candle discount store please? My Google searches are proving fruitless

IsThisIt2021 · 01/10/2022 16:22

@hoopdeloop
Yankee bundles have some good offers on Yankee, large jars for £15. It’s changed it’s name recently to discount dragon but if you search Yankee bundles it should still come up

SpamIAm · 01/10/2022 16:40

Pretty much everything I've got saved in my Amazon basket has shot up in price, maybe so they can claim bigger discounts come prime day? Anyway, just a reminder to check the price history of things if you're buying from Amazon!

The code HIFRIEND10 gives an additional 10% off.

LateNightTalking · 01/10/2022 18:13

Thanks for the stationery tips, will check them out.

Have also made use of the Hobbycraft code - thanks.

Went into actual shops today (!) and TK Maxx have loads of lovely DW candles in. Some really lovely jars etc, some at £3.99 which I'm going to use as Christmas gifts.

jocktamsonsbairn · 01/10/2022 19:19

I missed the hobbycraft code but used this earlier for £5 off and used with a half price deal on posca pens. Made a nice arty crafty present for DGN who is 9. Posca paint pens, a refillable glass bauble to devastate (I'll pop sweets in too) and an A3 artists sketchbook. Came to £10 which I was pleased with. Couldn't find the link for the 15% off if you subscribe but I think I'm on their list with all our emails anyway and didn't have time to start making up new emails so it might stack.

CRAFTOBER5

Purpleheadgirl · 01/10/2022 19:32

@jocktamsonsbairn @Reastie
There's a great idea for new thread title there...the one with the devastated bauble :)

jocktamsonsbairn · 01/10/2022 19:57

😂 😂 so it is!! 😂 I should know not to post without my specs on!

Scout2016 · 01/10/2022 19:57

10% off at Little Blue Hen until 10th October with BLUEHEN10 it's, soap, shampoo bars, soap dishes that sort of thing. The shampoo bars last for ages.

christmaspudding43 · 01/10/2022 20:20

My TK Maxx had spode christmas side plates and mugs today, both at £4.99. There was also a big Neom christmas candle at £24.99 but the scent wasn't my bag.

CasparBloomberg · 01/10/2022 20:36

Twister picnic/party mat. Were originally £20, then I bought them at £6 but now just £4.80 in the Typo sale
cottonon.com/UK/twister-party-rug/1684321-01.html?dwvar_1684321-01_color=1684321-01

mine arrived in 2 days and look great for the price.

Carolwithane · 01/10/2022 21:01

M&S had lots of Smiggle and Hype stuff in their sale - bags, pencil cases, lunchbags etc..

HollyJollyXmas57 · 01/10/2022 21:21

jocktamsonsbairn · 01/10/2022 10:58

Thanks for this! Looks like something DD will love!

Is this easy to cancel?

Cuwins · 01/10/2022 21:27

Found some nice bits in the gap sale for DD after someone mentioned it but was only spending about £15 and delivery was £4.50 so decided it wasn't worth it
