Ho ho ho and welcome to the bargain Christmas thread - home of the discounts for Christmas shopping.

Title is inspired by the turtle doves/gloves and in my head it's set to the 12 days of Christmas. I'm actually tempted for us to think up a new 12 days of Christmas nearer the time with all of our best bargains Grin

If you have a referral link for a website, do post it on this thread

See post 2 for some (hopefully) useful links.

@HulahoopsBBQbeef thank you for the rocket and rose link. I got some of these last year and had forgotten about looking again this year.
@newmumtotwo24 congrats!

If you haven’t used an Amazon pickup location before - check your Amazon homepage to see if it’s offering you a promotion for £7 off a £20 spend when you select a pickup location. Only works on items sold directly by Amazon (not marketplace) and only for the first 20,000 customers. Fab deal!

SweetPeaPods · 01/10/2022 08:45

@newmumtotwo24 congratulations!
We had the ikea kitchen and it was fantastic. Due in Jan and will buy one again when she is old enough. I really liked that you can adjust the height of it.

I'm struggling to keep up with the threads this year and am definitely behind on my Christmas shopping in comparison to previous years! But I've just done a big order from the Smiggle sale, they have an extra 30% off sale as well as an earlybird Christmas 50% off selected items (ending Monday I think) I've sorted all the kids parties we have in the next couple of months as well as a few bits for Christmas. (Apologies if this has already been mentioned! I'm a bit behind)

Don't forget it's the last day of Pandora 3 for 2 tomorrow.
I've been waiting for payday.

Thanks for the Smiggle tip!

Can anyone remind me of the place that has similar stationery but much cheaper? I was going to but the Smiggle advent calendar but I'm wondering if I could create my own for cheaper!

Congratulations @newmumtotwo24 . We had the Asda wooden kitchen and it did both of my kids so lasted 6+ years all in. They both played with it loads and it was always the thing visiting children gravitated towards.

Thanks for this. Blue light 15% off code also works on top of these sale items even though the code states it's for full priced items only.

IDontDrinkTea · 01/10/2022 11:01

The Smiggle tip is great but I can’t bring myself to pay £5 for delivery! 😭

thaegumathteth · 01/10/2022 11:20

Thanks for the Hobbycraft code. Posca pens for £3!

GAP have 50% off quite a lot of stuff. A lot of cute baby clothes but also womens etc too.

AussieSue · 01/10/2022 11:33

Possibly not the greatest bargain but looks to be a nice small gift (thinking of the raffle prizes I seem to need to donate!)

The Superseconds Festival is happening this weekend. It is a group of independent makers who offer their samples, seconds and so on at a discount for a couple of days. Many are suitable for presents. Several offer 70% discounts, but I don’t know how many items they normally sell at full price.

“You can grab a bargain from up to 250 makers across lots of different categories, including prints, jewellery, homeware, ceramics, accessories, fabric goods, kids stuff and lots more!”

Be careful, although some offer free postage others add quite a significant charge where you don’t find out what it will be until you’ve added all your personal information at the checkout stage.

The festival happens twice a year. I bought a few things during the last one and was pleased with it all.
