It's early September and we're already on thread 3 - wonder how many threads we'll get to this year! Any bets? Mine is 29!

If you have a referral link for a website, do post it on this thread

See post 2 for some (hopefully) useful links.

Probably only applicable to this thread if looking to stock up the festive store cupboard, but thought worth mentioning as it's a good deal:

If you haven't used Bother online grocery shopping before, you can get £40 of store cupboard staples and get £15 off using code MSE15. Seemingly this offer is valid until December. I used yesterday and the next day delivery was included free. They also plant a tree for every order. So £40 worth of stuff for £25. And they included a bar of Tony's Chocolonely as a welcome gift 🎁. I'm based in London so I do think the terms state delivery fees might vary depending where you are in the country.

I can't get the molton brown one to add to my basket, such a shame as it looked great

Snog · 13/09/2022 08:50

Ok I just needed to sign in and now I can get the molton brown deal!

WhyDoesItAlways · 13/09/2022 09:04

Another thanks for the Burt's bees cracker. That's teacher and TA's sorted. If you buy 4 or more there's an extra 5% off too.

Looks like it's going to be a popular teacher gift this year judging by this thread!

Bumblebeefriend · 13/09/2022 09:04

Thank you for the burts bees gift, great price and have ordered

I'm having surgery today so selfishly hoping there's not some massive bargains today that I'll miss Grin

Theraffarian · 13/09/2022 09:33

I’m thinking everyone might be Turtle Doved out , but just in case not , they are offering a free pair of wrist warmers ( which personally I prefer to the gloves as you can wear them inside to do things without having to worry about getting them dirty) , with every order over £25 for 48 hours . I had an email , but doesn’t seem to have a code on it , so might be worth checking your emails if interested

Thanks. Bought 2 for teachers 😀

TwinkleChristmas · 13/09/2022 10:01

If anyone sees any good offers on tangle teezer hair brushes please let me know.

It must be one with the handle though and not a ‘fake’ tangle teezer! We have loads of fake ones and other brushes but she won’t use them🤣😀

she has the pink one that’s on Amazon at the moment for £12.99. Would rather pay under a tenner though if possible.

My daughter is using hers to death and it’s starting to look a bit tatty so want to get one for a stocking filler.

They often have the tangle teezer branded brushes in my local homesense so might be worth checking there or TK Maxx

@Thismonkeysgonetodevon nabbed the Yankee candle deal! Right uo my street. Added a cinnamon stick wax melt and a red apple wreath apple melt to take me to £10.50 to get free delivery. Bring on ALL the Christmas scents!

PositiveLife · 13/09/2022 10:59

@Thismonkeysgonetodevon thanks for the Yankee candle deal. Got one for Dd1 and got the new year's eve countdown boxes as stocking fillers for both kids.

Ehunt1 · 13/09/2022 11:05

@STom2 thank you for sharing about Bother.I needed to stock up on laundry detergent, toilet roll and wild deodorant refills. Got it all with free next day for the price I pay for just the toilet roll.

Not very Christmas bargain related but I have been buying the Who Gives A Crap recycled toilet roll recently, it’s great and they donate 50% of the profits to charities who help build toilets and provide clean water to people across the world who need it. Bother sells it in 6 packs. It’s all wrapped in paper too so no plastic involved.

17caterpillars1mouse · 13/09/2022 11:30

Only a small saving but Morrison's have the little Ty collectible animal figures for £3. DD collects them and they are usually £4. Perfect stocking filler

torthecatlady · 13/09/2022 11:32

Thank you Flowers@Justhereforthechristmasthreads

Thanks for dunelm Harry Potter link oversized hoody link. I've got two 12 year olds I want to get them for ... do you think a medium kids would fit (it doesn't look like they do a large) or would I be better off getting an adult size??

BrainFoggerty · 13/09/2022 11:46

@nocutsnobuttsnococonuts OMG I've gone down the Shein rabbit hole!!

@10in10 Not sure if the Harry Potter ones are similar sizes but their other kids dimensions show as
Small: Length 63cm x Chest 49cm,
Medium: Length 78cm x Chest 60cm

The adults are oversized so will probably be far too big

Lurapuppypants · 13/09/2022 11:58

These rainbow embroidery kits are marked down to £1.10 in Wilkos but are ringing through at 35p!

ThreeRingCircus · 13/09/2022 12:04

My local Sainsbury's had lots of Christmas food in the seasonal aisle but consequently getting rid of other bits very cheaply. Eg the tubs of Christmas twiglets and mini cheddars were £3 but the same tubs just with their non-christmas packaging were 87p, best before date of March 2023. I picked up a few so now just have to hide them so I don't eat them before Christmas!

g1c2d3 · 13/09/2022 13:16

@FetlocksBlowingInTheWind, thank you so much for recommending the website for silver jewellery and for the code. I bought myself some lovely pieces, as well as presents for MIL and niece. They arrived today and are absolutely gorgeous!

BrainFoggerty · 13/09/2022 13:42

How long will Shein keep items in the basket? I need to get some work done & have quite a few bits in but I'm not done yet 😁
