It's early September and we're already on thread 3 - wonder how many threads we'll get to this year! Any bets? Mine is 29!

If you have a referral link for a website, do post it on this thread

See post 2 for some (hopefully) useful links.

@Isonthecase the sets are really lovely, you need to buy the base ingredients but the spice mixed they send make everything taste really authentic.

If they like curries, then that set is good. Otherwise there's a mezze one, and a taco one as well I think.

Link here to the curry ones.

I can also send you a referral code which might stack. You get 10% off any order over £20 (and in the interest of disclosure, I get £5 off my next order).

50% off when you pre-order the new Spicery curry cook book

IggyAce · 09/09/2022 21:09

@Isonthecase we love the curry legend Spicery book and have made loads from it, my dh will no longer have a curry made using a jar. We have the Taco book as well but haven’t made as many from that one.

Picked the snowman and pudding pack up in Asda for £2.

Ruralretreating · 09/09/2022 21:34

@VolcanicProtectorMan yes, those are the ones. I didn’t stop to check prices as I’m not looking, just saw they were discounted. The dentist one did look fun!

Ruralretreating · 09/09/2022 21:37

@Soscrewed I know what you mean on the decorations, they look nice but I’m not quite sure. We have a red/white colour scheme on table so not sure they would fit. I’m still considering the wooden stags you recommended too as they are sweet.

M&S has 2 pairs of selected kids' pyjamas for £16 (was £15 last year). I had a Sparks offer for 15% off kids' nightmare, so got 4 pairs for just under £28. Bargain!

NoWordForFluffy · 09/09/2022 22:19

Nightwear, clearly! Xmas Grin

Some of the Rainbow High Dolls are reduced in Smyths at the moment- I'm not sure how long for but they seem to change their prices on Mondays, some of the dolls are reduced to £14.99 and others to £23.99. It's a really good price, they're not usually reduced this far in many places- I'm guessing it's because there are a few new ones due to reach our shores soon-ish.

JubileeTissues · 09/09/2022 23:04

@Haveyoubrushedyourteeth thank you 😊 I'll go try and grab it in the morning!

Isonthecase · 09/09/2022 23:14

Thank you for the spicery feedback, got about £80 worth of stuff for less than £40 with the offers and referrals! Just trying to persuade myself I don't need a mezze cookbook now...

thaegumathteth · 09/09/2022 23:58

Don't suppose anyone knows anywhere I could buy some neon party plates? Random I know!

Notlongnow1 · 10/09/2022 00:20

@reastie potential thread title - m&s offer on children's nightmares!

Off to take a look. My son said they were the comfiest pyjamas he'd ever had last year!

Now I wish I had a sparks card!

Someone was asking for a picnic blanket the other day - Art Of Living have 50% off their "Navigate" picnic range and there are some nice bits - I love the 4 person picnic basket but don't have a recipient for it!!

Use code NAVI50 or you can shop in store too and mention the offer.

I've recently been on a search for neon party plates for a glow party but gave up. I found Glow Neon Party Supplies - Glow in the Dark Happy Birthday Plates and Fluorescent Napkins for Blacklight Neon Party Decorations, Serves 40 Guests (2) amzn.eu/5nMkowU These on Amazon but would have needed 2 sets which is quite pricey. Just having a quick look this morning and they have 50Pcs 7 Inch Neon Paper Party Plate, Round Dessert Paper Plates,Dinner Paper Plate,Party Tableware Paper Plates Birthday Party Supplies amzn.eu/gUlZXZU These which I didn't see before.

I ended up getting the ombre plates from Tesco which were buy 4 get 5th free so got plates, cups, napkins etc.

I was looking. I always thought the M&S card was like a credit card but this looks like a fairly standard loyalty card- is that right?

It was me that posted about them a few days ago. I haven't bought from them but did get the taco book for Christmas last year and use it a lot. The recipes are really simple and very tasty and there's no need to buy loads of niche ingredients. It came beautifully packaged in a nice bag too.

You definitely need the mezze book 😁
