It's early September and we're already on thread 3 - wonder how many threads we'll get to this year! Any bets? Mine is 29!

If you have a referral link for a website, do post it on this thread

See post 2 for some (hopefully) useful links.

I was looking. I always thought the M&S card was like a credit card but this looks like a fairly standard loyalty card- is that right?

Yes. Bog standard loyalty card.

Blixem · 10/09/2022 07:36

@Cuwins yep, just a loyalty card but you don't collect points, you get special offers

Morning, someone mentioned b&m have the red velvet sacks and stockings in we've all bought in previous years. Someone on the support thread has said the sacks have changed design, does anyone know if the stockings are different too? I am expecting in a week's time and would like the matching one for baby. I'd go an look but I'm the size of a walrus! Eternally grateful 🤗

EverydayIsPJday · 10/09/2022 08:11

Oh no, I've had a response and the stockings have changed too ☹️

sorryiasked · 10/09/2022 08:13

@thaegumathteth not write neon but party delights have some good bright colours.

They did look different - I’ve just checked photos from last Christmas and the red ones we got last year had white fur, pretty sure this year’s red ones have grey fur. Can’t find a picture of the stockings online but this is a picture of a bottle bag.

Thanks @Blixem @NoWordForFluffy
I have signed up. No offers yet but hopefully soon

EverydayIsPJday · 10/09/2022 08:20

Thank you @ClaraLane I appreciate that. I've found one on eBay 🤞 that's our family complete so it's not something I'm prepared to go without. Traditions, huh?! 🙄

wonderingwhatsnext · 10/09/2022 08:45

I'm reading a lot about people's Thrift orders but I must have missed the original post not going on holiday next year
I've tried googling but without success. Please could someone enlighten me.

Christmasmcchristmasface · 10/09/2022 08:48

Thrift had a further 85% off sale items over the bank holiday weekend with a code so lots of things for less than a pound - I got lots of premium high street and some designer brand new with tags - scarves pjs etc for less than £1 an item

Christmasmcchristmasface · 10/09/2022 08:50

Again @BadgerFace thank you so much your bargain is going to be hard for me to beat in this year’s Christmas shopping

I completely get it - I waited until last year to get ours for the same reason because I wanted a matching set 😂 good luck with the baby! Maybe they’ll be our first thread baby? 🤞🏼

wonderingwhatsnext · 10/09/2022 09:02

Thanks @Christmasmcchristmasface . Sorry to be obtuse but it's the shop just called Thrift because when I Google I just get loads of American thrift stores.

LemonFrosting · 10/09/2022 09:08

How long have you all found the Turtle Doves gloves take to deliver? Ordered last week but still not arrived. I know there's been royal mail strikes but I've had other parcels arrive this morning and still no gloves

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 10/09/2022 09:09

Has anyone used Photobox recently? Order was dispatched on the 31st August and said delivery was due by yesterday but Evri still haven't received it.

Anyone who does photo calendars for gifts Groupon have deals on for printerpix ones (they have A4 and A3 deals) - know the postage is extra but I've recently done 6 for about £30 including postage and they arrived very quickly

NoWordForFluffy · 10/09/2022 09:32

I've never liked the quality of Printerpix calendars. I always wait for a Colorland Groupon offer as theirs are really nice. I got 5 for just under £11 a month or so ago, so it's worth waiting for a similar offer, IMO.

@NoWordForFluffy Colorland are available now too

Good to know they are good too. I have never had any issues with Printerpix and used them for years for same item but I guess like anything experiences will vary.

I also get calendars made up for the wildlife centre I volunteer at - I wouldn't use either company for those as the bulk discounts aren't good enough 😂

Haudyourwheesht · 10/09/2022 10:03

Thanks for the tip on the M&S pjs. That's the DC's Christmas pjs bought - £12.80 for the two.

polmnlj · 10/09/2022 10:07

@LemonFrosting I am waiting for mine too. I ordered the 2nd and eBay says delivery will be 13th.

weshallneversurrender · 10/09/2022 10:36

Outlet fingerless gloves have arrived and both fit my curvy 18/20 size hands well 😍

Has anyone found anything frog themed? Looking for a a beanie baby sized soft toy type frog, as close to a UK garden frog as possible rather than rainforest type, for no more than £10-£15 for a fussy boy! Any help would be appreciated!

This makes me very happy!

I’d have bought loads more if I hadn’t found their website so painful to use…

@wonderingwhatsnext Its technically called Thrift+. Even without the 85% bank holiday sake I think there will be bargains on the website. It’s good if you know what brands you like/size you are but I find it a bit tricky to browse easily. The app is better though to be fair to them. I also like that some of the proceeds go to charity.

If anyone still has a £5 off £15 spend on Amazon still to use... it works on the pre discounted prices on the books which are £7 for 2. So if you put 2 books in which were £15+ prior to the offer it works out as £2 for 2 books instead of £7.

Clarabella72 · 10/09/2022 11:33

Picked this up from Tesco this morning for £12.50 in a reduced section, the label said reduced from £25 so hopefully I’ve found a bargain!
