I love the bargain threads but wondered if we could start one specifically for kids toys and presents ideas, i can start with a few:

Rainbowcorns collectable eggs 20% off
www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08TB2HF9C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Leapfrog ice cream cart down to an amazing price
www.very.co.uk/leapfrog-scoop-amp-learn-ice-cream-cart/1600188605.prd?sku=sku20132256&cm_mmc=google--PLA+-+Generic--All+Must+Have+Toys--PRODUCT_GROUP_p33749865644&utm_campaign=Generic_Toys+%26+Games+-+Must+Have+Toys+2017&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_term=PRODUCT_GROUP&campaigntype=shopping&gclid=CjwKCAjw3qGYBhBSEiwAcnTRLi2iIBf9Xebz_xyNp6s__CYSCLOWVNsYTmeQlIesBFqg9-aBLClWOxoC-dcQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Ill add more as i come across.

I think it's better to have it all in 1 place. Most people are buying for adults and kids

mam0918 · 26/08/2022 15:18

Dont know, 95% of gifts I buy is for kids... I have zero urge or need to sift through 100 pages of shower steamers, trowel sets, velvetisers, dressing gowns and scented candles.

Maybe we are wierd but even the adults I know wouldn't like 90% of the stuff posted on the bargain threads (which mostly seem stereotypical generic mumsnet gifts) so I usually avoid those threads... if there was one just for kids gifts I would be much more likely to read it.

KATS71136 · 26/08/2022 15:23

I agree and think this is useful!

I recieved a emails from smyths today they are offering a free “barbie and holiday accessories” set when £40
spent on barbie over the weekend!

Fivemoreminutes1 · 26/08/2022 15:40

Articulate, Catan, Cluedo and Pandemic all have hefty discounts on Amazon.

Also noticed £20 off the Sylvanian Red Roof house on Amazon which is the cheapest I’ve seen it.

Ooh definitely jumping on this one! I've just started my kids birthday and Christmas shopping 🛍

satelliteheart · 26/08/2022 16:58

This thread is a great idea. I buy for a lot more kids than adults and I have a baby due in November so need to get organised early for Christmas this year.

Mrsfussypants1 · 26/08/2022 17:28

I know it's been mentioned on other threads so this is for those who don't know:
The entertainer toy shop you can join jaks birthday club and register up to I think 10? childrens birthdays and you receive an email 3 weeks before the birthday with a code for 20% off (online or instore)
I wanted to buy dgd something that's selling out quickly and I haven't found any offers on so the 20% off saved me £15.

MamaRaisingBoys · 26/08/2022 20:27

Great thread idea, thank you! Hopefully I find some bargains to contribute

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 26/08/2022 20:56

Bargainmax have 25% off certain toys for bank holiday weekend and free delivery over £9.99.

I can recommend the harumika sets that are currently £5.49 and £6.49 then 25% off on top. Dd got a set for her birthday and has great fun making up outfits on the mannequin so I've ordered her another couple for Christmas. (Dd is 10 but would suit slightly younger children too)

oneofthose · 26/08/2022 21:44

Was someone waiting for reindeer blanket hoodies from dunelm? They’re on there now:

Yousee · 27/08/2022 02:52

I agree a child specific thread is a great idea!

I just ordered this KidKraft wooden garage for DS main present, it's normal price is £135, it's been £99 for a spell and now gone down to £79.50... SOLD! Much more attractive and sturdy looking than the plastic Hotwheels garages etc.

Flopisfatteningbingforchristmas · 27/08/2022 08:55

Fivemoreminutes1 · 27/08/2022 09:25

Thank you for this I'm going to buy some!

Has anyone seen the Rainbow High Avery Styles Doll and Fashion Studio for a decent price? I've seen it on smyths but still fairly ££.

xams · 27/08/2022 14:54

Jumping on this! We don't buy adults in our family so kids bargains would be perfect 🤩

Imissprosecco · 27/08/2022 15:40

For babies and toddlers, My 1st Years is having a bank holiday sale with up to 50% off personalised stuff like dressing gowns, wooden toys etc. If you also sign up to their mailing list you get 15% off your first order

Ziggerty · 27/08/2022 18:14

@Yousee we have this one. It's amazing and gets played with every day. From memory it was abit of a faff to build so worth doing in advance!

Ohhh following with interest

SteerClear · 27/08/2022 21:28

Fab thread! I only buy for kids at Christmas- the adults only want vouchers etc so this is perfect for me.
If I see any bargains I shall add.

LittleLottle · 27/08/2022 21:37

Following as most of my present buying is for kids!

whereareyousleep · 27/08/2022 22:56

Quite a few cheap toys on Amazon e.g

Buzz light year sword reduced to £18.99
sword

Moon shoes £25.99
shoes

Star Wars scrabble £14.99
scrabble

I know these are a bit niche but as just I've been looking at for my list but they are coming up cheaper than anywhere else might be useful for someone

trampoline123 · 28/08/2022 08:38
