We're travelling south today, to see Why and the parentals. Hopefully it's a nice day for travelling!

I couldn't be arsed with a party, Wreck, not at that distance!

I've been awake forever. It's not good. 🥱

It's sunny down here currently Fluffy, hopefully it will be for the whole journey.

We watched half of the newest Grinch Wreck.
I wouldn't fancy the party an hour away either!

I'm having a Christmassy afternoon visiting a Christmas factory outlet (dreaming will know the one).
I'm just waiting for dsis to arrive then we'll go in. I think the kids are going to love it as they have a little grotto full of lights etc

This evening I'm going to my friends house for some food and a catch up which I'm really looking forward to. DH has also offered to drop me off and pick me up so I can have some drinks too.

Ooh crazy I am so envious!

lovely washing day here today, mild, sunny and breezy.

2 loads on the line here too , I use the Eco wash overnight , takes 3+hours .

DD and I went to Lakeside , quite busy loads of Hallowe'en stock and getting more Christmassey

I made some Spiced Cauliflower Soup in the soupmaker yesterday - half a cauliflower from last week, onion, tumeric,coriander,cumin, left over frozen roast potatoes and stock. It was delicious though a bit of a lurid colour !

63 morning. We had storms overnight but I slept through them. It was so mild last night we sat outside until we left the party at 8:50, got home at 9:45 and all straight to bed.

Today dh is going to do some tip runs and I must do some uni work. I have an essay and I have no idea how to start, I think I need some actual books but I much prefer reading online 😅

Will try to wash the new Halloween film on Netflix today too as didn’t manage to yesterday.

We had the night in a PI and we're about to go for breakfast. 😋

Saw Why last night...that cough is epic! Seeing the parents today, then driving home.

Jealous of the PI breakfast

There is something really really nice about a big selection of breakfasts that you don't have to cook yourself , and time to eat t .

DH and I were away last year in a Holiday Inn, they had a side area for cooked breakfasts and a main area for cereal, coffee/tea. fruit juices and pastries , and of course the toaster .
He wandered back with a huge vegetarian breakfast each morning

Biblical rain this morning and thunder

We have a couple of fences pane;s in the gaage , I'm considering fastening them with bungees to make a raft and get DH, DS, DD and the cats to paddle (I'll be the one with the drum keeping the rythym going)

Do the kids have night lights, Wreck? DS has one of these which is chargeable so isn't relying on the mains to work. DD has a slightly different one, but it's also chargeable.

I'm off to the allotment very shortly. Doing 2 hours then getting back in time for DH to go to work!

We have the landing light on and their door open, we have ours shut so didn’t realise it had gone out until ds started shouting, then he took ages to go back to sleep. I got back to sleep around 5:30, couldn’t go to the gym as I’d read all the roads are flooded into town. Humph.

Oh no wreck!

I woke at 4:30 and couldn’t sleep so managed to grab a sainsburys delivery slot for the 21st December. Tomorrow I will try and move it to the 22nd and then again to the 23rd on Wednesday but at least I definitely have the 21st locked down :)

Morning! We had awful rain overnight but I think the sun is starting to break through now.

DHs cold has become worse, his chest is wheezy and he's coughing and sneezing all the time and I can feel it moving on to me quickly. Means neither of us slept well so we're both feeling tired and rough this morning 🤧

Plan for today is work, food shop, finish attempting to alter DHs coat I have no idea what I'm doing or why he's trusting me, study a bit and if there's any time after that, cross stitch in front of the tv.

DD has this light. Again, chargeable, so not reliant on mains. We keep doors shut for fire safety, so the landing idea wouldn't work.

Sounds like a whole load of poor sleep all round!

Dreaming, I used to do that with Sainsbury's...nudge, nudge along!

It was lovely to see Fluffy and family on Saturday. Went to work yesterday and now I am exhausted. Still coughing alot and it is getting on my nerves.

Tried to get into Dr today but it was unsuccessful, I knew it would be. I really need some antibiotics as this lurg is feeling like it will stay forever now.

Really hope you start to see some improvement soon why

just returned from a lovely evening needle felting and have signed up for wreath making in December :)
