Afternoon all. I finally started picking up Christmas food items today, have a big box of chocolate biscuits, some stollen bites and some marzipan.

DS remains adamant that he wants a switch so I think we are near enough to buy that now.

How was the x-ray, Why?

I've had another busy day, despite apparently not having much in my task list. I'm also feeling very odd, with a persistent headache / ear ache / sore throat thing going on. One day it'll go!

I already have a fair amount of Christmas food in, Dreaming. I've no idea how much to buy as we're 4 extra! Probably not as much as I'll buy!

The x-ray was ok Fluffy. Quick thankfully.

I have bought a few things for Christmas. I really feel like buying lots of treats as I have requested not to work Christmas day this year as I have worked the last two. I have quite a bit in my Christmas shopping order ready to go.

I hope you feel better soon Fluffy. That grimness is certainly lingering.

I've got a headache from head butting my boot this morning - the hydraulics didn't work properly (maybe it was the rain) and it didn't go up as far as usual and I stepped forward and it whacked me in the forehead.

It is lingering Woolly. I reach the dizzy heights of long covid territory on Tuesday. Lucky me.

Ouch. That is a very painful thing to do.

I've given up typing on MN, and am now typing on my phone's notes app then just cutting and pasting. Still a PITA but 🤷

We have a Morrisons delivery pass, so I have put in orders for me, DM and DMIL for 23rd December. There weren't any slots for Christmas Eve but I wouldn't book it then anyway - cutting it a bit fine!! I'll probably pick stuff up during the week as well drinks and whatnot I might as well get delivered! Can't believe it's just over 9 weeks. It's really flying now.

I’m wfh this morning then need to do the food shop later. There’s a £5 off £40 spend on the lidl app so will be going there. Had the assessment for ds for selective mutism yesterday, I don’t know if I can say he now has a diagnosis as I guess it’s not official (maybe once I get the report?) and she’s already arranged a meeting with school so I’m feeling positive about that. She didn’t need him to be there but he came home just before she left and hid in the kitchen so I guess that supported everything I said…

Wreck do you know how long the report will take?

I'm finishing work early today and babysitting my nephews and niece for a few hours. Nephews aren't bothered but apparently niece is very very excited about this because "auntie crazy will watch Green witch (The Grinch) with me"

Ah that’s so nice crazy! Love the grinch, which one will you watch? The report is usually two weeks but due to half term it’ll be an additional week.

Crazy I was told that it takes between 7 - 10 days. Could be before that or could be after that but she was hoping next Friday.

If anything really concerning came up they’d have flagged it and you’ll hear sooner, in my experience why

Lidl is ££££ and shit. Remember why I don’t go there now. £80 (with the £5 off) and I’ve had to send dh a message with all the things I couldn’t get.

Wreck, I really hate Lidl. The one here is properly grim and depressing. And definitely not a cheap option.

Ouch Woolly

I nearly decapitated my poor Dad once , I was pulling the boot shut and he darted forward to have a nosey at something in my boot , surprisingly quick for his years ! Managed not to bounce the tailgate off his cranium thankfully .
But even now (years later) my DD says "Don't do A Grandad" when I close it ,

I have a totally non car induced headache from my flujab so I think water and painkillers are calling .

And... nine weeks till Christmas Eve

Morning. Dh’s alarm woke me up at 6:15 which is annoying. We have to go out this evening to someone’s surprise birthday party. I don’t want to go as it’ll be dark, I’ll be tired, there’ll be people I don’t know and it’s an hour away. I’d rather be at home.
