@mac1974 tempted on the aqua play! We still have my set from the 90s and it gets played with loads at the grandparents.

Does anyone have any suggestions for my teen girl. She has decided she wants to be a fashion designer when she is older, and Ihas chosen this for her options at school. Any good ideas for a teen design student that she might love?

@mac1974 how old are your children that are playing with the aquaplay? My son will be 8 not long after Christmas but has ASD and does enjoy play a little below his years. He enjoys role playing with his mario figures and I'm thinking they might fit in there well?! 🤔

@psuedocream3 how about a dressmakers curve set and book on pattern making?
Maybe a set of good fineliners and portfolio paper, unless they do it all electronically nowadays, in which case, a tablet drawing pen?

Well im a childminder so ages up to 8 use it really. They also like to mix sand into it 🙈

@MeredithGray2 Thank you, I'd already enquired with some of these sellers but they wouldn't ship to me, otherwise I'd have had no issue buying second hand!

@psuedocream3 does she sew? If she does then loads of things - glass topped pins, decent scissors, fraxel pens. If not there are often designer events on at the V and A museum, keep an eye out and get tickets for there (if distance is doable)?

Thank you for the suggestions, @BeastOfBODMAS & @Martinisarebetterdirty She is in the early stages of this new career dream, she has a sewing machine but just in early stages of the very basics. It may well be a phase that disappears as quick as it comes but I do want to encourage her creative side. I like the V&A museum idea, we went to a local art exhibition which had amazing designs by the college students but she was a little disheartened at how talented they are and how he feels she isn't. It would be great to see the history and through the times of fashion.
