Do you wrap stocking fillers and stuff in sack.

In this house majority of presents come from us. For the last few years Santa brings a small stocking with some Christmas food treats and also and a sack with a few things in.

Do you wrap things from Santa if it's in the sack/stocking?

I don't wrap chocolates etc but the toys in the sack I normally do. But currently have covid and if it's a tiny bit of wrapping I can get out if I'll be pleased 😅 😷

Kids are quite young so won't remember it Santa wrapped or not last year! 😅

Nope. Santa doesn't have time to wrap!

Yes. But it's maybe 5 things each in a stocking plus chocolate coins which don't get wrapped. No sacks here!

Winterfellismyhome · 19/12/2021 18:12

No but DS is autistic and would get overwhelmed with all the unwrapping

Misshape · 19/12/2021 18:12

I wrap everything except the chocolate

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 19/12/2021 18:14

No wrapping. Just chuck it in.

UndertheCedartree · 19/12/2021 18:15

No need to wrap stocking presents as the stocking is the wrapping in my book!

InTheLabyrinth · 19/12/2021 18:16

No. Not a chance. The stocking is the wrapping.

Tessellation · 19/12/2021 18:20

Yes I used to because it took DC longer to get through the stocking that way (it was what they opened when they woke up early) which meant a longer lie-in for us. Nowadays I'm up before DC even on lie-in days so wrapping is no longer a necessity!

KloppKrazy · 19/12/2021 18:22

One or two bits only.

Comedycook · 19/12/2021 18:23

Everything wrapped here

tinkywinkyshandbag · 19/12/2021 18:25

I wrap mainly because it makes it last longer and seem more exciting - but I either use tissue paper or little paper gift bags I bought on Amazon - great for small things like bath bombs. My two DD's are 20 and 17 now so the stockings are getting smaller and smaller! I still enjoy doing them though.

Incywinceyspider · 19/12/2021 18:26

Yes! Unwrapping is the best bit! My favourite memories of Christmas are unwrapping loads of tiny bits. DS is 2 and everything is wrapped except chocolate coins and a cuddly toy that will peep out of the top of the stocking!

SunnySideDownBriefly · 19/12/2021 18:27

Yes, but I wrap with tissue paper! A godsend tip I picked up on here one year. So much quicker to wrap.

TwoBlueFish · 19/12/2021 18:27

Everything in the stocking gets wrapped here. That’s what my mum did for me so it’s what I do for my kids.

bellsbuss · 19/12/2021 18:28

I do as my mum used to wrap my stocking presents. DH had the same, one year when I really couldn't be arsed and said as much to DH he looked at me like I had killed someone.

MyDcAreMarvel · 19/12/2021 18:29

Unless you know your child hates things being wrapped then yes. Why would you just chuck everything in.

Theworldsgonecrazy · 19/12/2021 18:29

Yes.
We wrap everything.

daisypond · 19/12/2021 18:30

Yes, we wrap stocking presents. There’s not many of them.

BluebellsGreenbells · 19/12/2021 18:30

Yes all wrapped!

Have you not seen the gift wrapping Santa does?

megletthesecond · 19/12/2021 18:30

Never.

Lulu1919 · 19/12/2021 18:30

Yes ....father Xmas uses his own paper NOT the same paper the presents from me !!!!

AD80 · 19/12/2021 18:31

Thanks all. Dc have a fair few presents to wrap
from 'parents' we wrapped a few weeks ago. Was just trying to myself some time not wrapping the sack gifts as the Rona hits and I'm being lazy 😅

Me and dp have mixed experiences. As a kid Santa would bring quite a lot and it would be wrapped. Dp had a stocking with unwrapped things. Also Dp had it on his bed but me downstairs. I would love to put stocking on DC's bed but they are both autistic and I think they would wake on them slightest noise in their room! 🤯

Nope. Wrapping the main presents is bad enough. As a kid never had wrapped pressies in stockings - not a done thing in our family. Santa doesn't wrap.

Flowerpower23 · 19/12/2021 18:36

Stocking next to bed, lots of little pressies and chocs not wrapped, some in the sacks wrapped and a couple not wrapped if they’re awkward shapes 🤣
