And I’m up at 3:40am so thought I’d check out if there are any bargains that I need 😁

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

I bought a Neom diffuser from skinstore but it’s still showing as processing 2 days later even tho it said due for dispatch on the 26th- has anyone else had this?

Straysocks · 27/11/2021 09:41

Could any of you suggest swimming headphones for a child? The ones I have seen seem to be aimed at adults so I'm concerned they won't fit. Thank you!

Carrie76 · 27/11/2021 09:42

@wombleflump I’d say 8 inch is big enough, I got my ds who’s 10 the bigger one last year

awishes · 27/11/2021 09:44

Morning! Any codes for Zalando please?

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 27/11/2021 09:49

@evilpea it might not technically answer the question, but it's always reassuring when other people like the things I do and confirm I'm not bonkers! I'm thinking Heidi the Hippo or Antonio the Alpaca would make brilliant house pets Smile

hairycabbage · 27/11/2021 09:56

Can anyone recommend some switch games for an eight year old please? She loves Animal Crossing and Lego Harry Potter but not much else has grabbed her attention so far. I thought about Minecraft but not sure!

Froppysue · 27/11/2021 09:58

Argh woke up to my fence completely blown down!

I bought eldest dd some ugg slippers too through the night. I did have to get them from JD though as they didn’t have her size elsewhere, and I’m feeling a bit sick at spending £70 on baffies - she’ll love them though.

@TheCrow thanks for the help for my dds cosplay, that’s unbelievable helpful advice! Love the idea for foam and all the accessories, she’s mentioned it before but I had no idea where to start, she’ll be over the moon with all that!
I actually got a sewing machine for my birthday 2 years ago but I wasn’t able to physically use it - I was planning on selling it but never gave it a thought that dd might want to try and make some costumes! Feeling a bit silly now lol.

Definitely going to get the Kamui books too they look fab, thank you again.

@vroc81 thank you very much, I think it’s a little blind bag she’s after rather than a play set but I’ll keep that in mind if I don’t find any.

EvilPea · 27/11/2021 10:11

@Haveyoubrushedyourteeth

I’ve seen Heidi in real life she is glorious. Haven’t seen Antonio but he looks brilliant in the pictures.

@wombleflump

Hi I’m trying to buy a tablet ( controversial) for 6 year old. I was going to get a Amazon fire as they are half price at moment. I can’t decide to Get a 10inch pro or 8 inch pro. Anyone have these or can revoked which one.
I don't have either but think about how you'll use it - will it be put in a bag to go to granny's or to go out places with you? Will you be putting a kids type bumper case on it, as they make it bigger too? So I would favour the smaller one for ease of use alone!
friskybivalves · 27/11/2021 10:19

I bought two of the famous Amazon £5.90 CDMs and they arrived with the outer cardboard packaging falling apart and the corner cardboard of one bar all scrunched.

On to customer service to complain as I can't give it to DD as planned - and they are sending two as a replacement even though I was perfectly honest that one was perfectly fine. 'Please dispose of the original unit, ' they typed on the screen. Yeah OK, I'll be doing that. Wink. So my advice is just to check the quality of the bars before you squirrel them away...

Iggi999 · 27/11/2021 10:22

I've just got some trainers from fitflop I've had in my basket for ages for 80 something pounds instead of £130.
Now really must find presents for other people. Instead of for me!

wombleflump · 27/11/2021 10:24

Carrie76 Thanks does your child like the 10 inch one? I think may get 8 as much cheaper in any case but am drawn to the bigger one for
Some reason but maybe they would drop it etc if too big

AlexinMotherland · 27/11/2021 10:26

Topcashback doing 50% cashback on Boohoo for the next hour. They have items going for 1p too if you like their clothes!

@hairycabbage my dd is 8 next month and loves AC and Lego HP. She is well in to Minecraft so I would highly recommend it. Lots of her friends play it too and they often play together and build different worlds. She also likes Just Dance. Apart from that I've struggled with games for her too!
Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 27/11/2021 10:31

@evilpea well that's decision made then, I'm going to take my chances and order a Heidi Smile

noscoobydoodle · 27/11/2021 10:38

@wombleflump- my 8 and 6 year old both prefer the smaller kindle fire (we have both). We do a lot of long car journeys and they have been fantastic and very robust!

BabbleBee · 27/11/2021 10:39

Any recommendations for a weighted blanket please? It’s for DD16 so needs to be adult sized. Wowcher have a few but I’m concerned about quality.

LastStarFighter · 27/11/2021 10:45

I have to stop reading this thread. I just bought a flowery, cow-shaped footstool Confused

I got this one from Online Home Shop after a recommendation on here last year. It’s been great.
Puffalicious · 27/11/2021 10:48

Thanks for the Fangrrll tip. Just got brilliant things 50% off. Amazing! Love this thread.

Topbird29 · 27/11/2021 10:53

@hairycabbage - how about Mario kart, lego Jurassic Park, Mario 3d worlds (mini games) z our 9 and 7 yr olds like those. Although they both just want to do minecraft!

BonnesVacances · 27/11/2021 11:03

@Haveyoubrushedyourteeth

Has anyone ever ordered from Red Candy and if so would you recommend? There are some animal footstools that keep popping up on my Facebook, which I'd like to get for Dd to take back with her to uni as a flat pet. Dh thinks I've lost the plot....we have five children so I lost the plot years ago, I'm just impressed that I've hidden it from him for so long!

These foot stools are amazing! I'm going to get one for DD. Fab website too. Really quirky! I love it! I've no idea why it didn't pop up on my Fb so thanks for the signpost.

LastStarFighter · 27/11/2021 11:06

A bit of a niche request, but anywhere I might be able to get a couple of stocking fillers relating to the character Ghostface from the movie Scream? But kawaii/cute rather than horror.

DS has a bit of an obsession with it, but it’s because it reminds him of a Halloween costume when he was small. He has no interest in horror movies.

I had hoped for Funko Pops, but it looks like the Ghostface one came out a long time ago and then became collectible. There are fake ones all over eBay and Amazon, but reviews are awful.

risefromyourgrave · 27/11/2021 11:11

@hairycabbage Lego City is a fun game, a bit like GTA but for kids, much less sex and violence. Wink

Thisisbatshit · 27/11/2021 11:14

@friskybivalves I came on to say the same thing. I complained one dairy milk bar was ungiftable as the packaging was damaged. They said they would replace. I have checked today and they have sent 2. I was clear it was just one. Woohoo!
