.......to which I replied a firm No.

I’ve bought her a bottle of Nina Ricci. A third of the price.

One of my friends however didn’t think there was anything wrong in this.

To me, she’s far too young for something like this.

Like most of her friends, she does wear a bit of make up but obviously nothing high end.

Thoughts?

I wonder if op will give her dd the NR perfume now. She hasn’t been back to the thread. Not interested in other peoples POV.

@FreeBritnee
I am sure a thread about a 13 yo wanting a LV Neverfull for school would not get the same responses. So this blows the theory out of the water… and I declined to buy my 13 yo dd a white 1k Canada goose coat. I’m sure most posters would agree this to be a stupid purchase. A small bottle of perfume is somewhat different.

Just get her the perfume she wants or no perfume.

@ThrobbingToothacheOfTheMind

ok this thread-cookies

Op should get her daughter cookies?! Hmm

Should’ve read ‘on’ this thread not ‘ok’ this thread. And an advert for discounted perfumes at Very too. But yes buy child cookies too 😂

I'd get a set of minis for a 13 year old. Moschino do a really cute set of the little fresh coutures and toy perfumes. I'm tempted myself purely for the teeny little spray bottles 😂😂

I wouldn’t get my DD the same perfume I wore unless she specifically asked for it. There’s a big difference between using mum’s perfume now and again (maybe feeling a bit grown up) and wanting that as your only option.

Buying her her own bottle just seems a bit “hands off mine” rather than a present.

I asked for some miniatures last Christmas (I get bored easily so prefer to have a range of options) and that was one of the sets DH got me :o
