If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@TinselRoastingonanOpenFire

The BAM code looks good, does anyone know how the clothes wear and whether the clothes are true to size?
I live in BAM leggings and yoga tops. The leggings I get in my size - 12 - and they're great. I get the yoga tops in a 14, as I don't want them to be as clingy as intended!

They wear really well. I spend all my non-work time in BAM...it's as close to wearing pyjamas as you can get, without wearing pyjamas! 🤣

@SapereAude

FFS. Gareh Bloodeh Barloh has just been offered to me by M&S. I know I felt I was missing out, but still.
And me. For the second time. I didn't want it the first time! Xmas Hmm Xmas Angry

Does anyone know of any deals on magazine subscriptions? I’ve seen one through buy subscriptions and 2 different links from the same google search takes me to buysubscriptions and they have 2 different prices on those different links, one £10 cheaper than the other. After reading these threads over the years, to me those pages just made think there could be other codes etc to get a better deal or free gift etc!

If you have tesco club card points you can use then towards magazine subscriptions (I think £1 of club card points is worth £3 towards a subscription). I’m using my points to get a gardeners world subscription for my mum.

Hi all,
Sorry have nc and missed a whole thread!
Please has anyone seen any good deals on Adidas tracksuits, fila trainers or doc martens? I know there was an Adidas one earlier but cannot seem to find it on the threads.

RJnomore1 · 23/11/2021 14:42

John Lewis:

No items delivered
No email
No refund

So far, order still showing as fine and die for delivery within 7 days of placing but all tracking says returning to John Lewis.

After all the hand wringing on the deleted thread I greatly fear the customer service cock up as to how they are handling this now is a disaster for them.

psuedocream3 · 23/11/2021 14:42

@Duvetflower I'm using the big Cadbury dairy milk bars for hot chocolate, just break a couple of chunks off, melt in milk and viola! yummy hot chocolate.

Cristmasiscominggggg · 23/11/2021 14:46

John Lewis: 2 orders. 1st sent via DHL arrived today. 2nd order (where i paid more for next day), got to my local DPD office, then returned to JL. I went on their chat yesterday, and was told they were "damaged in transit". Gave me a goodwill of £6.95 voucher, and refund of order within 14 days. But i still don't actually have the email to say it was cancelled!

GaslighterDenier · 23/11/2021 14:49

All my JL was delivered yesterday via DHL.

TuftyMarmoset · 23/11/2021 14:56

I had most JL stuff delivered yesterday via DHL and the remaining item today via Royal Mail.

I have to say I’m actually not that impressed with the YSL brushes I bought. I wanted to give them as presents to makeup-loving SIL and MIL but the packaging doesn’t look very impressive (quite flimsy gold boxes) so I’m considering returning them.

Newforestdonkey · 23/11/2021 14:57

Again, please, can we stop talking about JL?

Costco have got 10x Julia Donaldson books for £12.99 delivered. RRP £69.00, my 1 year old loves her books great gift. She's already got one, but will pull out and gift it to somebody else. Great buy!

MrsLeclerc · 23/11/2021 15:03

@MWestie if you are/know a Costco member they currently have boxes of 8 mini squishmallows (the plush ornament set) for £11.99. In our local one (Cardiff) they had 2 types, bright animals and winter animals with scarves and earmuffs etc. I have seen some stores had the Christmas set with Santa but ours didn’t have it.

@Duvetflower I like the charbonnel & Walker hot choc flakes - half the price of elsewhere at Lakeland-maybe Amazon too.

John Lewis-my order minus a tin of
Quality street delivered today. I didn't go mad mind but didn't expect to get it - so much that I'd already ordered more wireless earphones elsewhere for dc!

GaslighterDenier · 23/11/2021 15:05

@Newforestdonkey can we also please stop asking to repeat the same codes multiple times because people can't find them and stop all the talk about squishmallows and Primark oodie's Wink

Newforestdonkey · 23/11/2021 15:05

ThunderboltKid I have been scrolling down for two threads now, and the next one will be taken over by the ‘I haven’t received a refund* messages. Totally different from individual people talking about Neom and also not in the spirit of the threads. You, instead, can keep setting up threads on JL elsewhere, even if they are taken down.

I find them pretty true to size. I'm a 12-14 on top and generally order the 14 as I figure the slight looseness is pretty comfy.
MrsLeclerc · 23/11/2021 15:12

@Newdad19

Also can anyone explain the difference between the kindle and kindle paperwhite?
The paperwhite version is great for reading in sunlight. So if it’s going to be used for sitting in the garden/holidays.

For convenience I use my iPad to read most of the time so I can flick between reading and the internet/apps. In the summer I always have my paperwhite ready to go for sitting in the sun so I’m not squinting and tilting the screen!

In terms of looking for codes I find it easier to view 1000 posts to a page (doesn’t seem to work on mobile though) and then use the browser’s search. Or you can advanced search using a keyword, limit the date to the past few weeks and the area to the Christmas topic.
