If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

@2319inprogress Have you looked at Barry M? I would get some brushes with the little sponge pad applicators, a sort of flat one for applying and a rounded one for blending. I was going to suggest a book on how to do make but I gather (from watching Glow Up) it's all youtube / tick tok and Instagram now..

Kite clothing have 25% off with code Bright25

MarshmallowsOnToast · 23/11/2021 09:42

PinkDaydreams · 23/11/2021 09:48

Something strange going on with the ASOS site, loads of stock gone! For example I was looking at Clinique last week, loads of it on ASOS site, gone on this morning and there's only 10 Clinique items now. Very odd!

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 23/11/2021 09:49

@evtheria brilliant tip- thankyou!

Alwaysroomforcake · 23/11/2021 09:53

Does anyone remember a few threads back that someone was looking for this elf (I think it was this one!) Because their friend had lost theirs in a house fire? I just wondered if one was still needed as I've found this one.

@PinkDaydreams They remove alot of stock when they put offers on like 20% off everything, they always remove all their LUSH products. There will only be stock online that they can afford to take a 50% discount on until the code expires.

Namechangesagain · 23/11/2021 09:57

@Motherofplants sorry its been a busy weekend will reply now

For office based presents this is a great website warning lots of sweary products

@DentalWorries

CHANCE gives up to 50% off at ASOS with a maximum basket value of £500. Sadly I only got a measly 17%
I also only got 17% 😢
PositiveLife · 23/11/2021 09:59

If anyone is looking for some ethical, eco-friendly clothing, then BAM have 30% off plus free socks with code BFYAY. I suddenly have extra presents for myself Grin

That's so bad!!!! I already hate the way ASOS put prices up when they have a code, then bring the prices back down when there's no codes valid.

@Helssjbells

Hello! Can anyone recommend where to get a 6ft snow effect Christmas tree from? Some of them seem extortionate. A discount code would be a bonus - well it would pay for the fairy at the top of the tree!
Check Asda out, I’m just waiting now on a delivery of a 6ft snowy Christmas tree. It was £35 , get quite good reviews too
TheCrow · 23/11/2021 10:07

@Delahot Flying Tiger had a nice sewing kit in a box/tin the other day.

Anyone looking for Joe&Seph's popcorn, home bargains had bags for £1.99 yesterday. There was a chocolate covered one and another flavour I can't remember.

Booked my Tesco delivery slot this morning! Got straight through on the app 😁

IDontDrinkTea · 23/11/2021 10:11

@catsarebetterthandogs9 yes, you most definitely do. I’ve been eyeing it for ages myself. Currently very pregnant and trying to second guess what size I might be after having the baby so I can buy it for after 🙊

Glad Joanie is getting love. They’re genuinely lovely clothes and deserve more love and attention than they seem to get!

EvilPea · 23/11/2021 10:11

@Delahot
Dunelm has some beautiful sewing boxes. I saw the bee hive one in real life. It was stunning.

Chocoholicmumma · 23/11/2021 10:13

Anyone who can’t get them instore the Aldi Xmas Squishmallows are online to order now

Scout2016 · 23/11/2021 10:14

Any ideas for where to get men's Gola trainers please? Have looked on their site, LaRedoue and Debenhams. Don't think they are cool as other places don't seem to stock them.

@Crackery did you get on OK with Secret Sales? I was put off by the FB comments from people complaining.

ApplesinmyPocket · 23/11/2021 10:18

@CoffeeAndDryShampoo

I know Ticket To Ride seems to be a popular game here but could someone explain the premise of it and if it would be suitable for a just turned 6yo please?
Everyone has their own set of coloured trains (appealing to a 6 year old I should think?) which they must lay to satisfy a 'ticket' - you collect sets of coloured cards to enable you to lay your trains on a stretch of route, eg, if one of your tickets is Denver to Kansas City you need to collect either 4 black cards, or four orange cards, and then you lay your trains to join up the two cities.

That's basically all there is to it! And yet, having made it sound so dull, it is one of the most enduring board games we play as a family. There's much satisfaction just in getting your routes laid down - 'who wins' isn't really that important. And the rules are so simple (just three) you can play 5 mins after getting it out of the box.

I've spent so long writing this post, apols. if I'm repeating someone else Flowers

Georg Jensen Black Friday appears to have gone live. I know people were looking earlier and couldn’t see any discounts, they’re definitely on there now.

SpamIAm · 23/11/2021 10:21

A few years ago Joanie had full sequin dresses in a variety of Christmas colours. I was tempted to get one for my Christmas Day dress but decided they were too expensive in the end (they weren't! They were £40 😭😭). To this day, it's one of my biggest regrets in life...

I got 22% off ASOS. Would rather go without 😂 putting prices up for sales is annoying isn't it. Dorothy Perkins have 50% off all dresses at the moment - mostly £50 down to £25. When have Dorothy Perkins dresses ever been £50???

Working from home today so might make a start on my wrapping at lunch time. Still on the lookout for a Vtech Kidizoom if anyone sees a bargain. They've been reduced to about £26 on Black Friday the last few years so I'm holding out but as it gets closer I'm losing confidence and worrying I'm not going to get it in time for Christmas 🙈🙈

Hi, we play Ticket to Ride Europe as adults. Its a game where you build trains across a map of Europe based on what cards you pick up. Points are scored based on length of train lines and a couple of other things. I havent played it with my 6.5 year old, she is very capable but I don't think she would get it yet unless we simplified the rules, she can play games like Carcassonne and Dragonimo. I think we will wait another year before introducing ticket to ride to her. By contrast my 9.5 year old would probably now start to get it, her school learning level is about a year behind so I would say between 7 and 8 is a good age for the main version depending on your individual childs abilities. I would recommend Barenpark, Carcassonne (with some help) or Dragomino for a 6 year old.
