If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

@Givealittlebit I'm useless at links but can currently see it on the Argos home page. If not, go to the Mario Kart only bundle and click on special offers-that's how I found it earlier. The Tesco deal above is the best value out there I think but our nearest big Tesco is miles away so
I'll stick with what I've got.

2319inprogress · 23/11/2021 01:56

I don't think so @Newdad19 - the wooden one we have I bought for me really & I got a paper one (Nutcracker) for my mum who is older than yours & she was enchanted by it. The packaging was certainly quite grownup - a very nice box with layers of boxes within to open.

thaegumathteth · 23/11/2021 01:59

@flutterbean not sure if you're ever on these threads this year but any news on the Kevins? I've seen a lot of stuff seems to have been delayed lately.... 🥕 🍌

@2319inprogress

And I thought I was done 😫

Help!
Teen wants eye shadow - I don't use make up at all & have no idea where to start, she has never used anything but clear mascara.

I've seen Superdrug pallets recommended- is that right & would she need any applicators to go with them?!
She already has makeup remover - for face paint 😆

Morphe are great, they were half price (and look way more expensive than they are ) about a month ago- direct from Morphe site. Huge too!

@Newdad19
L'Occitane calendar as pp says is good- again, but direct and there'll be discounts/ free gifts and "buy this set for a fiver instead of ten if you spend over X" sort of thing.

Cath Kidston was great- soaps, hand creams, shower gels, loved it

Arran last year was beautiful but I think over £50.

I've gone back to good old Body Shop this year as it's been years since DD has had one of theirs.

thaegumathteth · 23/11/2021 06:13

@flutterbean thank you 🙏🏻

Polywhirl · 23/11/2021 06:25

@ Redwinestillfine I have PM’d you Lakeland codes.

Christmasmcchristmasface · 23/11/2021 06:28
@Jokie JL have 20% off some items at the mo -I don't think they generally do discount codes? Sales are normally good though - normally start 24 Dec which doesn't help with your blankets.
They are really struggling, closed several stores and ++ redundancies this year .. I'd be so sad if my local branch closed.
It’s Christmas do we really need the PA comments.
The glitch isn’t going to kill JL us all sitting here shopping online is what’s killing the high street/ people working from home less footfall etc.

I’ll be honest I’m looking forward to my one day of RL Christmas shopping in the big smoke on Friday with customary Hotel chocolat hot choc pit stop

Now go and get yourself a bargainous Cadbury’s dairy milk - back in at £5.90 and be a bit more 🎅🏻🎅🏻

mummyof2boys30 · 23/11/2021 06:32

@Queuing4Fergs

Sorry, postage makes it higher than the suggested limit but I'm pretty sure I found something similar in Sports Direct for around £5.
That actually looks like a great idea. I must have a look at sports direct. Thanks
nicky2512 · 23/11/2021 06:35

@thaegumatheth

Not sure if they will be on time (I suspect these probably will be as they generate a lot of business) but I saw these are due in store this Thursday (25th)

andadietcoke · 23/11/2021 07:01

@NoSquirrels thank you - love the maps, will definitely go with those. The bonkers background for the budget is that we're staying with a family for Christmas. I know the woman really well but not the man. Because we're not paying for accommodation I'm over compensating. The other man is her brother in law - we're buying for all her family too because Christmas Day...and also over compensating.

mrsbyers · 23/11/2021 07:11

@PurpleSock

Would anyone have any ideas/suggestions for my secret santa please ?

Recipient is 40 ish, and she's a very eco friendly veggie with (I think) 2 dogs, I'm really struggling with ideas

Is anyone still after a Tonie code? Let me know and I'll PM it

I've been going back and forth trying to decide between that and and the yoto player I had planned to buy, and I've finally decided to stick with a yoto so don't need my code Smile

mrsbyers · 23/11/2021 07:33

Looking to buy a couple of night owl coverless duvets - had a look lastnight but does anyone know if they do a Black Friday sale ?
