Hope you all find me ok

@EightToSixer clearly knows something I don’t about neom boxes 🤣.

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Vodafone codes thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@Mumto3thatsme Please could you post a link for the wax lyrical candle, I can't seem to find it. Thank you.

StormyTeacups · 20/11/2021 22:05

What was the latest on ASOS codes? Are we still waiting for Black Friday?

mrsbyers · 20/11/2021 22:13

@Junobug

Whilst were talking about Ooni's. I think I'm going to get my dh one. Harts of Stur have them at a great price. But are they much better than just buying a pizza stone for the webber? I don't want to spend £200 on something we already have.
Much better , we have the gas one and it takes literally a minute to produce a beautiful pizza
Newdad19 · 20/11/2021 22:15

@gaggiagirl

Can anyone recommend a bean bag or a place to buy bean bags? For a small adult sized DD and a child sized DS if person size matters.
Rucomfy

We have one and it is great

Haudyourwheesht · 20/11/2021 22:15

There are ASOS codes every couple of days now. They seem to have started adding a £20 minimum spend but it's got to the point where I refuse to pay full price as there are so many discounts.

We got an ooni karu in the first lockdown and it’s been brilliant- well used. Also have a Weber kettle bbq but use that for other things. It cooks a pizza in 60 seconds, bit of a steep learning curve with making, proving, shaping, topping and launching the dough but once you get there you can make wood fired pizza exactly like the £10 each ones from restaurants for as little as a pound a pizza (and that’s using proper Italian flour, tomatoes etc, it would be even cheaper with supermarket flour). It’s a great way to get teens to join you for an evening as we cook garlic breads and pizzas and share them over the evening.

They also do a double sided griddle (or you can use any cast iron pans that aren’t enamelled) so you can do steak, fajitas etc. Not an ad by the way- just a happy customer!

@Newdad19 On My Heritage, do you know if you're buying a kit as a present, do you put the recipients details or your own?

Puffalicious · 20/11/2021 22:28

I've missed so much today!!! Funnily enough I was on JL earlier looking at sodastream unaware of the glitch drama! They have one for £49.99 as do Argos and Robert Dyas. Anyone seen it cheaper anywhere?

Newdad19 · 20/11/2021 22:30

@BooRadleyIsFree you just put your own. The recipient needs to activate the kit with their own details once you give them it.

This is as per their site, as I had wondered the same! Smile

DentalWorries · 20/11/2021 22:33

@imnottoofussed I sell on Etsy and they are encouraging sellers at the moment to add discount codes for Black Friday so I’d sit tight and keep an eye on whatever it is you want

onedayatatime73 · 20/11/2021 22:47

@wickedthemusical

Hello, has anybody got the Emma bridgewater offer? X
Yes I'd like this too - there's a free mug offer?
gaggiagirl · 20/11/2021 22:50

Thanks all for the bean bag recommendations. RUcomfy and big bertha are sites I've never heard of before but have some fabulous things to choose from. I didn't even know John Lewis sold them so lots of choice thank you all.

The cheapest one on JL was £34.99 yesterday. I sent the link to my MIL as an idea for DS15. I hope she bought it yesterday
Cosywosy · 20/11/2021 22:55

Bit niche perhaps but I just ordered L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil for £11.70 (usually £19.50) from Amazon.

It was discounted to £15.60 (same as John Lewis) and there's an additional 25% off subscribe and save which you can cancel at any time.

It's a gift to me ☺️

BooRadleyIsFree · 20/11/2021 23:00

@Newdad19 Perfect, thank you 😊

BooRadleyIsFree · 20/11/2021 23:13

I have the Vodafone toniebox code if anyone would like it let me know.

Newdad19 · 20/11/2021 23:19
@Newdad19 Perfect, thank you 😊
Did you manage to get free postage? They were charging £12 after I registered but after a couple of days mailed me to say I could check out with free delivery

imnottoofussed · 20/11/2021 23:21

Interestingly a few items have been dispatched from my JL order, all of them food items from my second order. Will I get any of the other things is the mystery.

DinosaurOfFire · 20/11/2021 23:27

@Iknowitisheresomewhere

Has anyone seen Minecraft pants (briefs not boxers) for children anywhere? I want age 6 and can only find them on eBay but not in that size.
I got some from Primark the other day, they started at 5-6 which will probably be too large for my slim 4 year old but I figure he will grow into them. They were very cheap and seemed good quality too.
butterflymum · 20/11/2021 23:29

@BooRadleyIsFree

In case you missed seeing it, Amazon are doing the Ancestry DNA kit for £49 this week with free shipping. The current offer at Ancestry is £59 + £9 odds shipping cost, although this may change on Friday.

In past, I think best at Ancestry has been £49 + the £9 odds shipping, so Amazon's current deal seems very good.

In addition, and account dependent, if you qualify for the £6 additional free credit on a £50 top up credit, you in effect would be getting the Ancestry DNA kit for £43. You may have already used this offer or it may not be available to your account though.

Mummyoply · 20/11/2021 23:31

I can't upload photos but I have codes for £5 off Sarah Raven and Matalan codes for £5 and £15 off. Send me a message if you'd like them. And big thank you to @hobbitharry for the Tonie code Smile

butterflymum · 20/11/2021 23:33

*free Gift Card credit
*on a top up Gift Card credit

Puffalicious · 20/11/2021 23:33

Thanks wicked and oneborn I'm so annoyed that it was £35 on JL yesterday! It's definitely not there now. I checked out the Curry's at £44 but they didn't have the extra bottles I wanted or the Pepsi Max syrup, so plumped with JL at £49.99. 2 extra bottles and the syrup worked out at £70 - I'm pleased with that seeing that the machine itself was £99 when I looked a few months back for DS's birthday. If they have it again at £35 I can always return this one. I love JL for their ease of refund.

Thanks for helping.

Puffalicious · 20/11/2021 23:37

I also bought the Lego Batman head with 20% off, now £35 in JL.
