I bunged in several mascaras to get it to £100 as I also don't use YSL, and one of the gifts sets I added went out of stock before I could put the order in so I had to find a replacement.

Whoever set that up is surely gong to be fired

I've cracked too. To be fair, two it's are big ticket so I am hoping the honour it as they are £££. Having said that, other things may have fallen in the basket too. Next year's presents are looking lovely!

Ok I have a banging headache damn sinuses. But I've managed to put an order on John Lewis with tons and tons of random shit seemingly for free over £700 in savings. Let's see if it gets delivered

How did you manage that? The discount I thought was just for YSL products.

I couldn't get ex h the smellie gift set, mascara and eye shadow for me which makes the £100. Then added a lego fiat car. Total would be £78.....
I wouldn't buy any of it normally.....

I don't think it's too strong, but I don't have a very strong sense of smell and I might've gone a bit noseblind to it so there's everything chance people think I smell very strongly

Diffusers someone was aking about diffusers esp Neom one earlier on thread - apologies cantfind who (!)

FWIW I have the original White Comapny water diffuser & the Aromatherapy Associates Atomiser & the Neom mini pod in blush colour.

The White Company one I used a lot when I first bought it but its now redundant as the AA & Neom ones have surpassed it.

I love the AA one - its plain, ceramic & quality & I love their oils - it is portable in that I move it around my house & technically I could take it away elsewhere with me but I wouldnt as its fairly large.

The NEOM mini I love too as its so portable - this for me is where it comes into its own - I take mine to work & also around the house with me - very usable especially when wfh.

I tend to buy more AA oils. I have bought the pod as a gift for a good friend.

AA had the Atomiser in their black friday ofers

Omg I just tried again as didn’t realise the code had been taken off when I tried before and it worked!
I’m just worried about them charging me the full amount. I doubt they will send me all that stuff for £12!

DISASTER. Getting the Christmas decorations down from the loft and I knocked the squishmallows down. DC saw. DH quickly fudged a story about them being end of term gifts for doing so well. So they now have them and are very happy but I feel so sad.

I think getting a good bargain is great, but getting hundreds of pounds for free isn’t good.

My Mum worked as a key worker at Waitrose throughout the pandemic, part of the John Lewis partnership, so I feel a bit upset for her. She works hard, at risk due to her health too.

This could affect things for them all, I just hope it doesn’t. You just never know how many people are lurking and also got hundreds for free.
