Hi all wise mumsnetters I am still looking for a console for my ds(7) . I am now swaying towards a Nintendo switch (I have ds(5) also - perhaps they can play together . I am torn to be honest has any one got a 7 year old with a console what is best Xbox / PlayStation/ Nintendo switch - he really wants to play fifa. I'm hoping to make a decision by Black Friday !!

I'll always vote Switch for little ones and for fun you can have as a family AND portable. It's a great bit of kit. Lots of PEGI 7 and under games too

My 5yo loves our Xbox. You can have Xbox game pass which gives you access to lots of free games for £5.99 a month, minecraft & goat simulator being his favourite, but there are lots of titles to chose from so they'll never get bored Can also download YouTube Disney. Netflix, Amazon, bbc, sky etc for when they don't want to play on games.
