What are you buying your preteen/teen?

Where are the Christmas lists I've come to rely on?

Every Christmas when I have no idea what to get my three children I google "Christmas presents (age of my child) mumsnet and there are threads galore with ideas for me.

Not so this year!

So assuming there isn't a ban on these types of threads, does anyone fancy listing what they've bought/planning to buy for their older children?

My dc (11 & 14) already have everything technology wise they could want so it's getting harder to think of "big" presents.

Dd and Ds2 Ed Sheeran concert tickets
Dd Jewellery
Fitbit type watches for both of them
Dua Lipa concert tickets for dd
Ds2 boxing accessories
Dd a hot air brush
Dd a CD player for her K-pop cds

Still to buy:
Instax phone printer
Hair waver
Perfume/aftershave
Clothes
Ronaldo footy shirt
Other bits and pieces as I come across them.

It's ds1 (21 nearly 22 and going in the army next month) who I'm struggling with!

DS is 13, I think he is leaning towards wanting a new mountain bike.

If so, he'll only get a couple of small things to go alongside it, and then a stocking.

Probably: boxers, Nike socks, some chocolate, aftershave & deodorant, hairdresser voucher, gift card for the PlayStation.

I have no idea yet, mine write their lists at the end of November (and after the 2 dc November birthdays in the house!) but last year the LED strip lights with remote controls went down very well with the teenagers.
As did novelty earrings!

This is the first year I have struggled for dd12, for her birthday last week she's had a gaming chair, gaming headset, light up keyboard for her iPad, clothes, pjs, money, sweets, duck lamp which was her favourite present of them all, a giant squishmallow and a trip to go ape. Struggling for xmas ideas though. Was considering the hotel chocolate velvetiser perhaps.

New wireless headphones and a waffle maker for the teen.

Teddy fleece bedding and a hot chocolate maker for the preteen.

There'll be stockings too, but I haven't planned those yet.

DSes are 12 and 14, we have decided as a family to cut right back on presents this year, they have So Much Stuff and no need for any more tech, they're not into buying clothes yet.

They will each get:

• a onesie
• a selection box
• a couple of graphic novels
• some Marks and Spencer shortbread
• Guinness Book of Records / Ripleys
• a D&D book for DS1, a card game for DS2
• a Steam gift card

Plus a small stocking with Beano / Dandy annuals, Pringles, chocolate coins, tube of sweets, slipper socks.

We will also be going to the panto, out for a Christmas meal, and hopefully seeing family which we couldn't last year.

DS2 12 is a tricky one this year! So far a book on he history of gaming and a Nasa space photography jigsaw. No idea for a 'main' present at the moment and not many ideas for other smaller bits either.

DD 14: Wacom drawing tablet, maybe a ramen set with the proper bowls, spoons and chopsticks. His Dark Materials Funko figures.

DS1 19: Guitar pedal that makes synth sounds, DH is on price watch to try to find a good deal!

Oh my gosh, I've literally had so many ideas from this, thank you so much all for replying!

My eldest is into astronomy so is after a new telescope, but I reckon he'd like a planet or moon jigsaw too. Seen a few on amazon that I think he'd love, all because someone said they had bought their child a nasa puzzle. Brilliant!

We've bought Ed Sheeran tickets.
