What foods and drinks make your Christmas?

For me it's Quality Street (even though they taste rubbish compared to when I was little) and fried potato sandwiches for breakfast. The smell of the quality street tin or tub is one of my favourite smells and they smell the same even if they don't taste the same. There's other things too but those two are the main ones for me.

Xmas Eve Afternoon is always our baking day. Dds and I make sausage rolls, Cinnamon rolls (for Xmas breakfast) and a chocolate log.

My favourite bit of Xmas day is the Prosecco with home made Sloe Gin and blinis which we have before lunch.

My Dd got me york fruits last Christmas id been going on snd on about them clearly she was the only one who listened

Shelled nuts.
Tangerines /satsumas
Pannetonne
Champagne
Cranberry sauce/preserve
Quality street
Brussel sprouts
Roast potatoes
Everything else is great but not central for me.

Turkey dripping and jelly on white toast.

Baked camembert with redcurrant sauce and pigs in blankets.
Mince pies with brandy cream or baileys cream

Mine is the smell of turkey cooking in the morning. It is the only day of the year along with Boxing Day we have a cooked meal at lunchtime so I never ever smell cooking in the morning any other time. We go to my mums Boxing Day and I love the smell hitting me as I open the door

The smell of whatever tin of chocolates is on the go (we actually have a proper metal tin and I bit the bags and decant the chocolates into that as the sound of the tin is also Christmas to me
I would have said Baileys but we've discovered the Sainsburys own version is really nice and cheap so we have it all year round now

French martinis (chambord, vodka, pineapple juice, shaken)
Mulled cider or apple juice
Anton Berg chocolate liqueurs hung on the tree and had as an after dinner treat through December
M&S vegan turkey cranberry sandwiches
DH and DM will at some stage demolish a jar of pickled onions together whilst Dad and I make faces
