Christmas magazines 2021

I was thinking earlier, surely it's time some of these hit the shops (especially the GH Get Ahead one). Has anybody been looking / happened upon any yet?

I can't stop myself buying them, even when I tell myself I won't!

I haven't seen any but obviously I will be buying Prima, Good Housekeeping and Woman and Home.

(Like I do every year, and every year decide not to buy them again 🙃)

Yay. Love Christmas mags. I finally got around to reading this month's GH today (on subscription). Started thinking that I'm excited to get the Christmas edition soon(ish) 😂

I havent seen any yet, but dont they usually come out around October?

They kind of dribble out from now, especially the Get Ahead one, which is specifically designed for forward-planning.

Crafty ones are starting to appear too (seeing one on my cross stitch group prompted this post!).

I'm in the Highlands right now, so can't imagine there will be a good choice in the shops. I shall mooch round WH Smith when I'm back home on Saturday!

@PoshWatchShitShoes, I got a year's free subscription to GH with my bank account. Which I got solely for the Christmas edition!

The happy season is coming!!

I'm ridiculously happy that I get to waste money on regurgitated content buy Christmas magazine(s) on Saturday. Pay day Friday too, so WH Smith will benefit, ha ha!

Love them but struggle to justify that on a mag! I could get a couple of 2Nd hand books for £6 on eBay

I couldn't agree more. I love looking at all the details showing room and table decorations. I also look out for different Christmas door wreath designs and ideas for wrapping presents.

I love Christmas too :)

Some sleuthing has led me to discover that Simply Christmas is out on 16.09 and Ideal Home on 23.09.

I will keep looking for others!

GH Christmas Collection is out on 15 September. . .

I think the GH comes out about Guy Fawkes time .

I bought the tiny handbag sized one last year (it was in M&S and they had none of the full sized)
I felt cheated . Needed a microscope to read it

The get ahead ones are a load of adverts and most likely the same as last years .

Can I also hope that Nigella Lawson/Lorraine Kelly aren't on the cover ?

The December monthly is late Oct / early Nov, but the Christmas special is earlier (as in 15 Sept).

The BBC good food magazines can be found in the readly app you can get a month free, it isn't as good as an actual magazine but it's free . You can also browse back copies so you can look at old Christmas magazines, it has an assorted collection of home magazines I like homestyle, style at home and your home magazine. It doesn't have the special ones though unfortunately but should keep you ticking over till new ones come out .

I have found my people! I love these magazines and start to look for them as soon as the kids are back at school

I can read magazines for free through an app that my local library subscribes to, must check it for the Christmas ones! Anyone else who likes free magazines, it's worth seeing if your library service has anything similar. I used to spend a fortune on crafting magazines until I discovered it!

I do love an actual, hard copy, magazine sadly! Same as books; I'm a Luddite when it comes to technological advances! 🙈

Your right there NoWordForFluffy you can't beat a hard copy im not a massive fan of online mags but it has saved me a bit of money .
