Daisy829 · 13/07/2021 07:12

Thanks everyone..I’ve ordered funko pops, duvet cover, small lego set, hoodie & tshirt & popped the other bits on my Amazon list to watch for now. Good start I think!

CharlW1 · 13/07/2021 09:40

Officially started the ‘list’ of what I’ve bought, otherwise it’ll be chaos and done a ‘Toys for a pound’ order this morning. Isolating and teaching from home is going to cripple my purse this week I fear!

I’m rubbish and have no real bargains but Stephen Brown Art do some lovely McCoo prints and they have a 20% off discount code for today with MC20EM (they also often have a lot of sales) and a lot of the stuff on there is awesome!

Daisy829 · 13/07/2021 10:44

@IHTC that’s great thanks! I’m a childminder so have brought it for the kids. They will love it.

RJnomore1 · 13/07/2021 10:58

Not a fan of Steven brown art after the way they treated their staff. Personally I wouldn’t buy from anything connected to the name.

Toys for a pound is awful in that you buy LOADS of stuff you didn't know you wanted.... Sigh. Brilliant for stocking fillers though Grin

Tfutcher · 13/07/2021 11:11

I know this is eBay, but it’s a pink digital camera. £20+ on Amazon. £9.99

My son has the blue one and its really good

UrbanMage · 13/07/2021 11:18

Oh my goodness, I had no idea @RJnomore1

Manic20201 · 13/07/2021 11:21

Don’t know if fhese are really bargains as such lol

I bought a mini sphero ( football version ) of eBay brand new ( still some left ) listed for 34.99 but eBay have 10.00 voucher off at the moment so ordered for 24.99

Also purchased artie ( coding drawing robot ) for 49.99 seen most places are 70.00 of amazon special deal.

Argos have quite a few designafriend dolls in their clearance section. I've just picked up the Patience doll (as it's dds name and you never find any toys called Patience!)

It's come in a lovely box with a necklace and a second outfit including shoes. It looks good quality.

sorryiasked · 13/07/2021 11:31

Quite a few Christmas cards reduced on NOTHS

17caterpillars1mouse · 13/07/2021 11:39

Our local Clinton's are also doing Christmas cards for 99p each at the moment

RJnomore1 · 13/07/2021 12:02

@UrbanMage it’s only because I’m local I’m aware

twiggytwoo · 13/07/2021 12:41

Sainsbury's have a kinetic sand set (the beach day one) for £6.67 - it's normally £10. I've bought it for my niece or possibly the random present cupboard if another child's birthday pops up unexpectedly!

MahMahMahMahCorona · 13/07/2021 13:10

Arghhhhhhhh. I wish you hadn't posted this!!!
ItsAllBlahBlahBlah · 13/07/2021 13:16

Also note for Toys for a pound, I've found the biggest 'new stock day' is a Tuesday. If you have the app they ping you when stuff is added. Lethal. I have boxes of stuff Blush

Daisy829 · 13/07/2021 13:42

Toys for a pound looks amazing! I’m done for stocking fillers for this year but will defo make a note of it for next year. Also going to download the app.

Daisy829 · 13/07/2021 15:10

I’m good news, just found out my dd has a male teacher next year so the extra ketchup purchase has paid off!

ItsAllBlahBlahBlah · 13/07/2021 15:40

Oh god I've just twigged my eldest if off to nursery school in September, I'm going to have to buy his teacher a gift aren't I, aargh

RJnomore1 · 13/07/2021 15:45

I’ve never bought a teacher gift, just don’t start it. Always seemed ridiculous to me.

SparrowNest · 13/07/2021 15:58

Not read through so apologies if this has been posted, but Amazon has the same large Playmobil starter sets John Lewis and the Playmobil website list for £17.99 for just over a fiver.

We’re seeing our niece (4.5) and nephew (3) for the first time in ages next week so I’ve bought them one each.

Daisy829 · 13/07/2021 16:10

No you don’t have to do teacher gifts I just like doing them. I work closely with the school & they’ve worked so hard this year I want to show my appreciation. They’ve taken some stick from some of the parents during covid

superstar84 · 13/07/2021 16:35
