please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@Puffalicious

Emma Bridgewater are awful- never any discounts and it's £6 to return anything!
Never tried to return anything but I still pull out my free spotty mug around this time from a couple of years ago
Dolphintrainer · 20/11/2020 07:05

If anyone has or sees a discount for FHinds please let me know. I need to order a £100 item and any discount would help 💐

MysweetAudrina · 20/11/2020 07:06

Oh ffs it's only 7am and already I've ordered a fire stick lite 19.99, a WiFi mesh router 59,99 and an echo dot 29.99 from Amazon. All reduced today. I have been doing fast800 for the last 8 weeks and seem to have replaced my carb addiction with an online shopping one so losing lbs and £.

Sneezein3s · 20/11/2020 07:18

@MysweetAudrina could you link to the WiFi thing please? Thanks

LutherRalph1 · 20/11/2020 07:25

Any recommendations for something crafty from an 8 year old girl, but that her 5yo brother could join with if he wants?

Jacopone · 20/11/2020 07:30

@Sunshineskies, I think it was you asking for rollerblades recommendation. Apology, if not.
I can recommend Decathlon ones. We got them after a long and hard search a good couple of years ago and they are great. Expandable, so can adapt to growing feet without constantly changing size.

zigzagbetty · 20/11/2020 07:40

@IggyAce

70% off at Dr Botanicals with code NOV70 Can recommend the charcoal mask, lemon butter balm and the pomegranate sleep mask.
Thank you so much! Saved so much on this code Smile

A question re Redbubble website. I’ve never used it before but now tnink I might get some graphic tshirts. What is their quality? Is it a printed pattern or does it feel rubbery?

weebarra · 20/11/2020 07:59

I might be wrong but I think red bubble is a collection of different artists rather than one company. The quality of stuff I've has always been good.

nightcap · 20/11/2020 08:04

@graphista just wanted to say thanks for your post on ideas for older people, some really lovely thoughtful ideas there! (Also excellent point on the lung boosting powers of a good laugh, I'm now going to watch some stand up this evening) Smile

bettyskitchen · 20/11/2020 08:06

CW20 20% off Calvin Klein

myhobbyisouting · 20/11/2020 08:07

@MysweetAudrina did you pay £29.99 for an echo dot? I'd cancel that, surely they will be cheaper for Black Friday

CeeceeBloomingdale · 20/11/2020 08:10

@onetwothreeadventure

Does anyone have any hobbycraft codes that work on the cricut? It’s on my Christmas list!
@onetwothreeadventure They have just started black friday today with savings on the cricut, no code, they are just reduced
Jacopone · 20/11/2020 08:14

Ok, I see, thank you @weebarra. I’m definitely tempted, I’ve had a good browse and they look good. Will get some graphic ones to go with the posters I ordered from iamfy. A weird present combination, I know😆, but I I get it right both items will be practical and used.

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 20/11/2020 08:15

@lutherralph1 air dry clay might be worth looking at. My 8 year old really enjoys hers, and I'm sure a 5 year old would too..failing that maybe a Hamma bead set, mine have loved making those at any age.

Jacopone · 20/11/2020 08:19

And thank you to the poster who listed activities for older people. I actually screenshot your post for future reference. Some of those I did with my late father. Wish I had known more of his condition at the time.

LionMummyRoar · 20/11/2020 08:22

I’m hoping some of the other mums of dinosaur mad kids can lend some advice!
My almost 4 year old is crazy about them and I want to get him some nicer figures. Obviously the schleich ones are lovely, but I keep missing out on e-bay and new is very dear. They have what look to be nice ones on bigjigs- does anyone have any experience? Are they nice or not really a step up from the bright plastic ones he already has?

Thank you!

JoHo123 · 20/11/2020 08:26

Wifi photo frames Someone asked about these several threads back but got no response. I was also looking for one but was a bit overwhelmed with choice! Nixplay seem to be the market leaders but we’re over budget so after some research we went for a Jeemak Wifi frame with 18% off on eBay. It’s going to MiL in Spain so I’ve opened it all up and added pictures. It was easy to setup, the app works well and it will be easy for other members of the family to add pictures too. It’s touchscreen so I’m confident I can talk her through connecting it to her wifi when it arrives too. Hope that helps.

bookish83 · 20/11/2020 08:29

SAVEMORE code for asos extra 15% off sale items. Ends Monday morning*

Worth looking for gifts Smile

unkindnessofravens · 20/11/2020 08:30

Can't remember who was looking for a Soda Stream but Amazon have one in today's deals, at £60, down from £100

teaorwine · 20/11/2020 08:37

Would be really grateful for any help with this my 13 ds has asked for a gameboy advance sp, so.will be secondhand and not expecting discounts but need help with where to buy compatible games? Or any suggested gaming alternatives, he has a switch and an xbox.

Daisy829 · 20/11/2020 08:41

@LutherRalph1 have a look on the works. I got a pebble art & glow in the dark pebble decorating kit for my 2 kids. Similar ages.

tentative3 · 20/11/2020 08:48

@NoWordForFluffy could I pinch your £5 off £30? I don't think there's anything else I need, I've had a quick look but am worried I'll just convince myself I need enough for the £10 off one if I look any more! I'd be very grateful for the voucher.

JoanneCofton · 20/11/2020 08:53

Jumped on the Hotel Chocolat bandwagon and ordered the dipping set, trying to justify it to my self by thinking I would have spend £18 on 2 hot chocolates anyway...

EightToSixer · 20/11/2020 08:53

@JoHo123 thank you. I asked a few threads ago. I managed to get an early Black Friday 25% off nixplay this week so bought her one of those. I didn’t know there were touchscreen ones. If my sister wasn’t setting it up for her she may have needed that. Hopefully it will help someone else.
