please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Somebody asked on this or last thread for either a rainbow or pink Christmas tree. I found this one in Wilko

Questionsquestionsquestions · 21/11/2020 22:27

Does anyone have a current code for Buyagift or Red Letter Days? I know recently they've had £10/15 off codes -anything like that at the minute? Thanks!

LutherRalph1 · 21/11/2020 22:35

For the user asking about SHO, there is currently a code SHOBLACK which is 50% off but I'm not sure if it's off everything or certain items

Lurleene · 21/11/2020 22:36

XMAS30 for 10 off 30 on Red Letter Days valid til tomorrow @Questionsquestionsquestions

Givealittlebit · 21/11/2020 22:44

Anyone got any recommendations for a digital photo frame? I thought it would be a nice gift for husbands grandparents as they have barely seen their great grandkids this year. Husband then decided it needs to be wooden and under £50 (preferably less!) so welcome to any recommendations!

Questionsquestionsquestions · 21/11/2020 22:45

@Lurleene thank you very much!

margaritasbythesea · 21/11/2020 23:15

Thanks for all the Sho / tea cups. I'm just going into a new job ony feet a lot after working at home for years. Excited, but worried about my tea!

friskybivalves · 21/11/2020 23:56

Is anyone like me wondering whether the elusive Aldi hot chocolate velvetiser dupe is about to go online?

uniqlo · 22/11/2020 00:03

@CoffeeAndEnnui did you find a code for Monsoon? If not EARLY30 should give you 30% off everything. You may need to sign up to become a reward member though.

@ShandlersWig could you do a 6 month subscription plus something else instead? TCB are offering £6.60 cashback so that should bring the cost down of either sub a bit at least?

thegirlwithkaleidoscopeeyes · 22/11/2020 00:05

@friskybivalves it doesn’t seem to be for me Haloween Sad

TheCrow · 22/11/2020 00:05

@friskybivalves I waited for midnight for the Aldi dupe but can't see it anywhere either

thegirlwithkaleidoscopeeyes · 22/11/2020 00:07

I can see where it’s going to be, it’s just not there yet.

mummabear74 · 22/11/2020 00:07

@friskybivalves from past experience I think the special buys tend to go live about 8/8.30 ish on a Sunday morning but don't quote me. I'd really like some AirPods in their Black Friday sale and would love to know when they will go live.

friskybivalves · 22/11/2020 00:11

Oooh I think @thegirlwithkaleidoscopeyes has got closer than me. I haven't got to that kind of landing page evenHmm

myhobbyisouting · 22/11/2020 00:11

Judging by last Sunday when there were 40,000 in the queue ahead of me at 7.05am I wouldn't be waiting until 8!

friskybivalves · 22/11/2020 00:15

I'm sick of those ruddy copper pans and mustard kettle. I don't even like hot chocolate but I'm being a sheeple. What else to do on a sat Eve in blooming lockdown?

friskybivalves · 22/11/2020 00:16

Thank you both to mumma bear and hobby. Will give up but if as so often I'm awae in the wee small hours I might join a mad virtual Aldi queue.

myhobbyisouting · 22/11/2020 00:16

I'm not getting one. Sounds like faff for hot chocolate that I rarely drink anyway

myhobbyisouting · 22/11/2020 00:17

Copper pan though 🤔

mummabear74 · 22/11/2020 00:18

Just had a google and it says 10am but I know that's not right. Also says if you download the app you can set up notifications (didn't know they had an app so currently doing this).

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 22/11/2020 00:38

@cataline I work in a nursery and we use tuff trays for everything, one of my favourite things to set up! Highly recommend Waterbeads, playdough, shaving foam, coloured rice, cloud dough, gloop for sensory play. glass pebbles (like for a fish tank), offcuts of fake grass, large shells, small logs/offcuts of wood, different coloured scarves for small world play. Masking tape for making train tracks/parking garage or across the top like a maze with tweezers to get things out. Chalks/water paints for Mark making. Look on pinterest for loads of ideas, if you type interests or time of year eg christmas you will find loads of inspiration! Cat litter trays are also very good for activities where you need more depth, we get them from poundland and have them inside the tuff trays so no spillage!

CoffeeAndEnnui · 22/11/2020 00:40

Thank you, @uniqlo, I'll definitely give that a try as soon as the dress is back in stock. It vanished while I was holding on for a code. Typical.

For all those who were holding on for the voucher offer, reservations just opened for the £29 IKEA Christmas trees Smile

BunnyBerries · 22/11/2020 00:51

Contigo Westloop travel cup/mug is on offer at Amazon (£13.42). I am not sure if anyone has mentioned or if it has just started - but remember people said they rated it

wibdib · 22/11/2020 01:42

Don’t think I’ve seen it on here yet - Belkin soundform witeless headphones (their version of the Apple EarPods) are half price so £30 instead of £60 in several places including amazon, John Lewis and more.
I’m thinking that they are a proper make rather than being a random Chinese lookalike/wannabe in Amazon or eBay, so they should be reasonable quality, not have safety issues re charging or dangerous in ear sound levels etc and at £30 I’d be willing to give them a go as a present for dh, who hadn’t asked for them but does use them for assorted devices so might like having the different option of these.

Has anyone tried them to know how good they are? Or are there any other ‘proper’ brands that are similarly reasonably priced? Has anyone tried the Anker headphones?
Cheers!

onetwothreeadventure · 22/11/2020 02:03

@cataline the Ikea flisat is also great option for sensory play. For the tuff tray, TTS usually stock them and maybe bright minds. We have both and I love them.
