please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Thank you for the Hotel Chocolat code, what a bargain!

@margaritasbythesea

Can anyone tell me if the Sho coffee cups leak? I am wondering if I can take a cup of tea to work in it in my backpack.
I don't know about Sho but chilly don't leak. Keep tea warm fro 24 hours

I have bought a few 'mock' chilly bottles over the years (including 1 on this thread about 3 years ago) and they have all been a waste of money as they are not as good as Chilly at keeping/warm cold, washing and lasting.

For those looking for skates I got my daughter some from here and they are great she's in a size 6 adults size.

Imsayingnothing · 21/11/2020 20:58

Sorry have just seen posts about sho I bought 5 of these a few years ago, still going strong and keep the water, juice etc cold all day/night. Have been dropped several times but are still fine.

myhobbyisouting · 21/11/2020 20:59

We have SHO bottles here and none leak. We've used them lots and I always have 2 in my backpack

myhobbyisouting · 21/11/2020 21:00

There's 15% Cashback for Lands End if you use Lloyds everyday offers too

I ordered a bottle which is meant to be good.

I also ordered a coffee tumbler. It looks great aside from the fact it doesn't have a stopper on the drink spout. So it has a hole! But the description still says it keeps drinks warm. So could not be put in a backpack. It looks great and got 50% off, just wish it was a closed one!

Very quick delivery and they do come in nice tube boxes

WisestIsShe · 21/11/2020 21:13

Does anyone know anything about telescopes? DD is studying GCSE astronomy and I thought it might be useful to her. I want something actually good but also bargainous Grin.
Trouble is I know nothing so I would welcome any advice.

Bryna · 21/11/2020 21:25

@sorryiasked, thank you, we don't have a Waitrose near us, however I do know someone that uses there online delivery service, so I may be able to pursuance them to order me some!!, @margaritasbythesea, we do have a Morrisons nearby, I looked online but couldn't find them, but I will try again instore, @chocolatepudandchocolatesauce, 😍 now you've given me a problem, they are amazing, but I have 3 children, this tin could be a disaster, but I'm so tempted 🤣🤣

Thank you, I knew someone on here would be able to find me some!!!

GymSloth · 21/11/2020 21:31

WisestIsShe I know very little about telescopes, but ds has one he was given last Christmas. It seems very good. You can see the craters on the moon through it. Pretty cool Smile We didn't buy it though, so I've no idea how much it costs. He's asleep now so I can't check, but I'll look to see what make and model it is in the morning, if it helps.

chocolatepudandchocolatesauce · 21/11/2020 21:34

@Bryna buy two tins then there will be four of each biscuit and to avoid argument you'll have to eat your share :)

ShandlersWig · 21/11/2020 21:36

Is there a better deal out there for a Good Housekeeping 12 month subscription at 39.99? Always get it for MIL but at that price her gift to go with will be a bit reduced!

cataline · 21/11/2020 21:37

Has anyone seen a good deal on a tuff tray or tuff spot please?

I'm not really sure where to look!

Or anything that could be used with one!

WisestIsShe · 21/11/2020 21:39

@gymsloth that would be great, thank you. Google suggests that cost anything upwards of £100 to $1.5bn for the Hubble!

WisestIsShe · 21/11/2020 21:41

@cataline i got my tuff tray, legs, mirror etc from Cosy Direct. They are an early years supplier but I find them well priced, usually.

Previous post had personal info. Thanks Mumsnet for deleting so quickly

Scittle · 21/11/2020 21:48

@Champagnecharleyismyname

I'm looking for a luxurious towelling dressing gown for my 16 year old. Size 6 or 8.

Any ideas? Would like not to spend over £25.

Not toweling, but I recently got one of these for myself and it is soooo much better than it looks in the pictures. Really cosy and soft. I'm in love with it and thinking about how many people I can buy it for, for Xmas! www.marksandspencer.com/cosy-knit-long-dressing-gown/p/clp60475035?color=NAVY
BunnyBerries · 21/11/2020 21:49

@cataline

I presume you want one with the stand (as otherwise Keto do one on Amazon £16.39). Check dimensions as many with stands are 70x70, OnBuy has a decent price on a 100x100 with stand here

Bryna · 21/11/2020 21:50

@chocolatepudandchocolatesauce I like your thinking, however I'm not sure my bank balance will agree🤣🤣

Lellyo · 21/11/2020 21:52

Matalan code if anyone would like it
DIG38E-5XK-01ZX4A-39E 25% off valid until tomorrow

Yeknom · 21/11/2020 21:58

@cataline if you just want a tray, don't forget to google "cement mixing tray" as they're often a fair bit cheaper (and exactly the same!)

EnglishRose1320 · 21/11/2020 21:59

My ds has just produced a very brand specific list of ideas, growing up fast! Does anyone know of any good discounts for hype, converse or h&m, thanks.

Don't have much to add myself bargain wise but have just found the website glow.co.uk and have ordered a few bits, seems well priced and decent postage costs. Mix of torches/light up sensory toys etc...

Voiceofreason92 · 21/11/2020 22:01

@bettyskitchen thanks for the coast tip. Just bought 3 of these lovely scarves from Coast for £5 each! Teacher gifts sorted!
