please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks
@torthecatlady the Spicery send you the actual spices - it's fab. I'm getting one for DD who is 17 and has one year to learn how to cook before I throw her our for university! 😂
@FilthyforFirth, huge congratulations (have namechanged but have been here since forever)
@Graphista, your suggestions are so helpful. Flowers

I am wrapping paper panicking! I'm not in the UK and this year hardly anyone will deliver wrap! I'd filled my JL basket (being underwhelmed by Paperchase who are clearly just shifting their old stock as I've still got half rolls of some of their "current" stock from at least 5 years ago) and lo and behold, wrapping paper is one of the few things they won't send abroad. Gah.

If anyone has any suggestions where I might not have looked....(M&S don't send wrap abroad, Selfridge's and HoF is uninspiring, Cox and Cox charge £20 for delivery which is the most expensive delivery I've ever seen for here) I don't mind it not being bargainous. I'm the weirdo who will spend more on wrap than what's inside and if it doesn't look nice I'll unwrap and start over Grin

I like reds and greens and gaudy traditional. Which is why White Company, who will deliver, are sitting in my basket as a last resort because beautiful they may be, but gaudy they aren't!

(I'm asking you lot because though this is bargains thread, you are my Christmas gurus 🌲)
Have you tried Ikea?
I’ve just had a delivery of lovely wrappping paper, ribbons, string etc from them :)

ButtonMoonLoon · 21/11/2020 12:31

@Theimpossiblegirl

Marco Pierre White are doing £100 gift vouchers for £50 Really good couples gift.
What is the chance of going bust? I personally wouldn't buy any gift vouches this year- look at the number of restaurants who collapsed in the past 24 months
SweetPeaPods · 21/11/2020 12:38

@uniqlo

10% cashback at Asda George and 20% cashback at Superdry today through Quidco

@SweetPeaPods what is your nephew into? With that budget you should be able to get a decent Lego set? Or combination of books/board games? This Gravitrax set came down to £25 recently a few times so may be worth checking if it comes down again on BF? gravitrax

Thanks @uniqlo he's into really random stuff. He's an only child and unfortunately not into my usual fall backs of Lego, books etc. His birthday is end of October so that doesn't help! He is into football though but I have no idea what he has and hasn't got. His mum was not very helpful when I asked for ideas (she didn't reply!)
Foggyday124 · 21/11/2020 12:40

Theimpossiblegirl do you have a link for the vouchers? I can’t find the offer.
Thank you!

Mrsfussypants1 · 21/11/2020 12:43

Yes the qvc velvitizer was a good deal, I bought my mums from there on a deal when the velvitizer first came out, it came with cups, a bag and two boxes of mixed selection hot chocolate. Tbh, the selection box was not a hit, she ended up giving the flavours she didn't like which was a few to visiting quests, and the pod cups were replaced with glass hot chocolate cups with handles. Not sure what hot chocolates come with the latest deal though as I haven't checked it out. I'm going to try and buy the Aldi one for adult DD and hot chocs direct from hotel as she prefers the salted caramel ones or the latte ones.

WheresTheCoffee · 21/11/2020 12:43

@TheSilentStars have you tried looking for sheets instead of rolls? I know they would have a fold crease, so might not be ideal. They would more likely be easier to deliver though?

TheLastStarfighter · 21/11/2020 12:53

No promo codes are working on Fossil, even the one currently in the banner on their website, which specifically says extra 15% off Black Friday (WELCOME15), and I’ve been position 1 in the queue for their live chat for ages. Might just give up.

supermariossister · 21/11/2020 12:57

Hi does anyone have know of any argos codes floating about, just about to put £160 through and my code has expired 😭

Elpheba · 21/11/2020 13:03

@LutherRalph1 I used optimal print’s app after a promo code on here a good few weeks ago. I’d never used them before but the cards are lovely quality. I paid £9 including delivery for 20 personalised photo cards with envelopes.

Elpheba · 21/11/2020 13:06

@LutherRalph1 just checked my emails and it says XMAS65UK takes 65% off cards until tomorrow. Think there was then free delivery if using the app.

Anydreamwilldo12 · 21/11/2020 13:09

Such a shame people Fossil orders have been cancelled. I've had an email the purse I ordered (using the codes) has been despatched. Very strange going on.

Ewock · 21/11/2020 13:11
@ceeceebloomingdale it is. I don't want to spend all of my money on Amazon but you never have this issue with them!
I had just been looking on Etsy for wax melt calendars which might do instead. At least then I'd be supporting a little shop. But do you think it would look at nice? Would she like it as much?

@yafilthyanimalandahappynewyear that one is a bargain, thanks! Now to decide between that and the Etsy one.
Haven't caught up yet but saw your post. I got my mum that calendar from Very. It was full price but I used the spend £70 get £35 off.

Purpleheadgirl · 21/11/2020 13:21

sorryiasked · 21/11/2020 13:21

@SweetPeaPods how about one of these football club jigsaw
Otherwise same company has some good single player logic games.

@Purpleheadgirl the offer isn't coming up for me. Wonder if it's because I did it last year?

yafilthyanimalandahappynewyear · 21/11/2020 13:26

Free young inventor Lottie when you spend £90.
Offer can be used alongside most 10 - 30% off bundles.
It's a Super Flash Sale apparently!

handmademitlove · 21/11/2020 13:27

@SweetPeaPods and @Purpleheadgirl I ordered the radio times offer but they cancelled a few days later as I have had it before. It doesn't say new customers only but that seems to be the case - in case you have used the offer in previous years...

oxcat1 · 21/11/2020 13:27

Please can anybody remind me of the brilliant wool blanket deal that appeared several months ago? I totally missed the boat at the time but now discover I have two wool blankets to buy!
Sorry to repeat myself.
Any leads much appreciated. Thanks all

SnotRockets · 21/11/2020 13:36

Anyone know of any John Lewis codes??

@handmademitlove interesting

Jfw82 · 21/11/2020 13:41

For paw patrol fans Argos have the full set of ready race rescue metal mini vehicles for £15

More exciting though not bargain related (well perhaps just me) but if you have an iPhone you can get a Percy pig countdown to Christmas widget for your Home Screen Grin

farnworth · 21/11/2020 13:55

@fogginghell
If looking for Lakeland vouchers, worth doing an advanced search on MN for last two weeks - several people’s codes come up on Christmas threads and might work. I recently found a working £10 code doing this - thanks very much to @slithytoveisascientist - much appreciated!

Puffalicious · 21/11/2020 13:56

Sweetpeapods I had difficulty getting Mario Kart 8 and Minecraft, so didn't take the chance and just ordered- Curry's free delivery.

Ridikulusness · 21/11/2020 14:05
