please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Here's the link for the real techniques brush set on amazon at £10.99

My dd into her make up and she loves these

@HawkinsLab you are very welcome - I hadn't read as far as your post earlier. Glad it's of help.

@beadyboo I'm thinking your best bet re hammocks is likely to be some kind of cashback deal - either cashback sites or through your bank or a cashback credit card if you have or can get one?

@ILikeBiscuits People on the last thread mentioned the radio times subscription £1 for 3 or 6 magazines? I'm not sure.

@Foggyday124 Cb radio has had a resurgence in recent years that might tap into his love of alter egos and live communication? Cb radio people tend to be great with kids on this sort of thing. You do need to monitor of course and have rules but generally speaking a good hobby.

@xoxogossipgirl2020 re ASDA you'll need someone who is in your locale as stock will vary regionally. Perhaps try local Facebook pages? Mine are not impressed with a local supermarket at the moment due to low stocks of Xmas products which I experienced myself today. Very annoying.

@Tailrunner no personal experience but I know people who've bought reconditioned phones from o2 and gifgaf and they've been happy with them. My last phone was an Se and it died last year I'm now on iPhone 7 but I buy new but don't get latest model, although I kinda wish old Se had waited until new se was out! The se is a cracking phone!

@FilthyforFirth Congratulations on the new baby! no tips on bargains but please be aware not all wine and cheese is veggie

cataline · 21/11/2020 01:04

@ButtonMoonLoon

Oh that’s so so kind of you, but please don’t part with it if you might want it for somebody? If not then I’d happily buy it off you and cover P&P of course! Thank you so much. It’s been so hard not being able to get out. x
It's totally fine! Just pm me your address and I'll try and get it in the post tomorrow.

No payment needed!

FilthyforFirth · 21/11/2020 01:07

Thanks @recklessgran I was trying with the wrong bundle! Ordered now, merry christmas to me!

Squ1ggle · 21/11/2020 01:42

Ugh I was doing so well resisting the hotel chocolat deal but middle of the night insomnia and a non sleeping toddler has made me crack! Ah well it'll make nice school/nursery/stocking filler presents Grin

Squ1ggle · 21/11/2020 01:43

@FilthyforFirth

Evening all. I had my lovely baby two days ago! Home now recovering from my section and dealing with cluster feeding so time to dip back in. What must have deals have I missed?! What black friday stuff should I be looking at?

All I have left to buy is 3 hampers, 1 for grandparents, one vegan and one either vegetarian or wine/cheese style... Totally open to presents for me though!

Congratulations @FilthyforFirth enjoy those newborn snuggles, they really are the best
SparklingLime · 21/11/2020 01:55

Thank you, @BonnesVacances. Feels a bit scary buying an iPad from an unknown site, but may be I’ll be brave like you! They don’t have a profile at all on Trustpilot 🤔

Givealittlebit · 21/11/2020 02:45

Huge congrats @FilthyforFirth ! I'm also so glad you got the hotel chocolat deal to work, you definitely deserve it.
I cracked and ordered it for myself yesterday, and I really have no need for it. Got the big hotel chocolat qvc deal when that was on too, although that one really isn't for me!

Gilead · 21/11/2020 03:59

Congratulations Filthy!

Mrsfussypants1 · 21/11/2020 04:30

Aldi velvitizer dupe £39.99 online pre order sunday 22nd, copper or white. Sorry if this has been mentioned already but I saw this in the Aldi magazine and it looks like an out right copy of the hotel chocolate one, even down to the description.

Mrsfussypants1 · 21/11/2020 04:45

Congrats Filthy 💐

IggyAce · 21/11/2020 05:48

Sorry not sure who, but someone earlier on the thread mentioned cashmere socks try The white company or sock shop. Both have a nice selection and will probably do Black Friday deals.

Bluewavescrashing · 21/11/2020 06:13

If anyone has a Very account, try this code PAPWP which just gave me £20 off a £50+ order. I have a credit account so it might only work on those but it did work on clearance items. I got some nice polo tops for DH. Lots of toys and gifts on BF deals too.

Lellyo · 21/11/2020 06:21

@filthyforfirth congratulations lovely.... a gorgeous baby boy x

@torthecatlady the Spicery send you the actual spices - it's fab. I'm getting one for DD who is 17 and has one year to learn how to cook before I throw her our for university! 😂
@FilthyforFirth, huge congratulations (have namechanged but have been here since forever)
@Graphista, your suggestions are so helpful. Flowers

I am wrapping paper panicking! I'm not in the UK and this year hardly anyone will deliver wrap! I'd filled my JL basket (being underwhelmed by Paperchase who are clearly just shifting their old stock as I've still got half rolls of some of their "current" stock from at least 5 years ago) and lo and behold, wrapping paper is one of the few things they won't send abroad. Gah.

If anyone has any suggestions where I might not have looked....(M&S don't send wrap abroad, Selfridge's and HoF is uninspiring, Cox and Cox charge £20 for delivery which is the most expensive delivery I've ever seen for here) I don't mind it not being bargainous. I'm the weirdo who will spend more on wrap than what's inside and if it doesn't look nice I'll unwrap and start over Grin

I like reds and greens and gaudy traditional. Which is why White Company, who will deliver, are sitting in my basket as a last resort because beautiful they may be, but gaudy they aren't!

(I'm asking you lot because though this is bargains thread, you are my Christmas gurus 🌲)

littlestpogo · 21/11/2020 06:31

Hello lovely people!

It may have been mentioned already but Neom have a different gift each day with any spend over 45. Just incase anyone was buying anyway ( the free gifts have been good yesterday and today).

Separately has anyone seen a super king sized Christmas throw/bedspread at all ( as opposed to a duvet cover)? I’ve found one in amazon but that’s about it!

livingthegoodlife · 21/11/2020 06:38

Flying Tiger sell the hot chocolate snowmen too, £2. White or milk.

@TheSilentStars do tkmaxx deliver abroad? I bought some massive rolls from there in store last year and the quality was fantastic. They'll last me a good few years they were so big. Worth a look

TheSilentStars · 21/11/2020 06:44

I'll check, thank you, they didn't used to but there's a chance since I looked they might.

Squ1ggle · 21/11/2020 06:45

My last 'big' thing is a set of Nintendo switch joy-cons. If anyone sees a good deal I'd be grateful. I don't relish the thought of paying £60+ on them

WisestIsShe · 21/11/2020 07:13

Early morning rant warning. I've woken up to an email from Boots which says my order has been partially dispatched. The Yankee candle advent calendar I need for my best friend (it's tradition) has been cancelled. All the little bits I added for free delivery are on their way Angry
So now I have to buy one from Amazon at full price or eBay at inflated price. You guys have me addicted to bargains and I really resent paying full price.

CupoTeap · 21/11/2020 07:14

@FilthyforFirth congrats, I miss newborn snuggles!
