please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@Foggyday124 this might still be too much of a toy for what you are looking for but I saw this last week for my DC from John Lewis Spykit

recklessgran · 20/11/2020 22:43

@FilthyforFirth I've just tried it and it's still working for me.
It's this;
hotel chocolat bundle
Put the MERRY20 code on the left hand pale grey box on the basket page first and that takes off the £20 then FREEDEL30 after that should knock off the postage.
Hope it works for you!

torthecatlady · 20/11/2020 22:53

I've missed so many of these threads Blush

DFIL is really difficult to buy for and I'm debating whether or not to buy a Spicery subscription for him. Can anyone tell me how easy it would be for him to set up? I assume I would receive a gift voucher that I would give to him and then he can choose when to receive it? Any help appreciated! Smile

Side note - I've just written a load of Christmas cards whilst drinking clementine gin to be hand-delivered next weekend! I almost feel organised! Grin

Isadora2007 · 20/11/2020 23:00

Phone is being really glitchy so I can’t RTFT but avengers PS4 game is reduced to £22.99 on Curry’s from £49.99

Iggi999 · 20/11/2020 23:10

Oh I need that Isadora it's on Dc's list - that's one that isn't out for the Xbox isn't it? (Trying to remember if it's PS4 he wants it for Grin)

GymSloth · 20/11/2020 23:12

I've decided that my dc could do with some lights under their mid-sleeper beds. I'm sure I saw a post on here for some LED strip lights. I think it might have been several threads ago now though. Does anyone remember?

Iggi999 · 20/11/2020 23:13

Oh sorry it's the Spider-Man one that's PS4 only

Asj0405 · 20/11/2020 23:19

Ive ummm ordered the Christmas cards about 8 minutes ago, varied charity ones. When they arrive I might give them to DP to write on. If its left to me then about the 21st December I might get to writing in them and hand delivering.

Ridikulusness · 20/11/2020 23:54

Can anyone please help me?
A few threads ago a fabulous bargain website was mentioned that only had a £10 minimum spend for free delivery. It was full of tat really but excellent for silly stocking fillers and secret Santa. It was linked to another reputable site but for the life of me I can’t remember either! 😭 Can any of you clever people remember the website I’m thinking of ?????

ButtonMoonLoon · 20/11/2020 23:54

Big ask here but I haven’t been able to get out as I’m laid up with an injury....but if anyone happens to see any of the aldi hot chocolate snowmen I’d be so grateful to buy off you!
A friend looked in our local aldi today and they’ve been cleared out completely and my little girl really wanted one.
Apparently people have been buying them up and selling them on eBay at ridiculous prices!

NoWordForFluffy · 21/11/2020 00:13

@Ridikulusness, was it Neon Sheep?

Redwinestillfine · 21/11/2020 00:22

@ButtonMoonLoon may not be the same but Home bargains have hot chocolate snowmen too....

MaudHatter · 21/11/2020 00:29

Congratulations Filthy
For anyone with Lego on their lists , the Lego site has double points this weekend and a free Charles dickens book set with a £150 ( after vat ) spend . The book itself will probably sell on eBay for at least £50 so if you have a big set to buy you could recoup some of the costs by selling it on .

ButtonMoonLoon · 21/11/2020 00:29
@ButtonMoonLoon may not be the same but Home bargains have hot chocolate snowmen too....
Thank you so much- we don’t have a branch anywhere near us. I’ve just looked on their website and can’t see them....do you happen to have seen them on there?
It’s not the end of the world if I can’t find one by I know my little girl would love it if I could! I may end up caving and buying one on eBay but they’re 3/4X times the original price!

Redwinestillfine · 21/11/2020 00:29

@Ridikulusness Rex London?

Redwinestillfine · 21/11/2020 00:33

@ButtonMoonLoon I saw them in store, but they look the same as the Aldi ones

ButtonMoonLoon · 21/11/2020 00:37

Ah, thank you, I wonder if they’re only available in store.....just checked and our nearest branch is at least an hour away. The aldi ones we’re around £2 and are now selling for £8-£10 each + postage,
Some sellers have got dozens of them. Such a shame that they’ve been bought up in such a way to sell on at such profit.

ButtonMoonLoon · 21/11/2020 00:39

Aha found them....out of stock though unfortunately!

cataline · 21/11/2020 00:54

@ButtonMoonLoon

Aha found them....out of stock though unfortunately!
My DH bought two of the home bargains snowmen yesterday and I only need one for DS's stocking.

I'd be happy to send you the other if you like?

ButtonMoonLoon · 21/11/2020 01:01

Oh that’s so so kind of you, but please don’t part with it if you might want it for somebody?
If not then I’d happily buy it off you and cover P&P of course!
Thank you so much. It’s been so hard not being able to get out. x
