please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

DS (14) apparently would like a smart-watch / garmin-type-of-thing. Budget of about £50. I think I remember someone on here getting a great deal on a Fossil one with a discount, but I can't find it. Any ideas? Or any suggestions for ones I should look out for?

Yeknom · 20/11/2020 18:09

Not Christmassy at all, about to order a rug from Dunelm, do they do codes at all? You guys have made me want to never pay full price again! Thanks

Sneezein3s · 20/11/2020 18:14

@KiposWonderbeasts thanks so much for the Pandora tip - just got a bracelet and two charms for £88

balalalala · 20/11/2020 18:15

Thank you - home bargains is a but of a drive but sounds like it might be the better option!

flumposie · 20/11/2020 18:16

Just found this thread. Hotel Chocolat hamper ordered. Bargain. ThanksSmile

Happy to help!

Pawpawpaws · 20/11/2020 18:28

Thanks very much @Daisy829 and @Lovemusic33 I have gone for the festive bundle from Hotel Chocolat, will split the sets for a few presents and keep a box for me Smile

FindYourPorpoise · 20/11/2020 18:32

Gruum have 50% off all their gift sets for the first 250 orders.

Sorry it’s not in bold, I couldn’t figure out how to make it work!

FindYourPorpoise · 20/11/2020 18:33

And if you’re a new customer, you can use a referral code to get another £5 off.

ThePurpleGirl · 20/11/2020 18:43
Just in contrast to this, I placed an order with IWOOT on 6th October and although part of it arrived within the week, six of the items (including kids sweatshirts) only arrived yesterday! On my experience with them I don't think I'd risk buying anything i needed to arrive by Christmas.
Bridecilla · 20/11/2020 18:44

Has anyone bought from zavvi? Ds would love this light but they're being really cagey when people are asking questions about how it's powered on their FB page.

FIL has just requested a self charging electric razor has anyone heard of such a thing?

BeaLola · 20/11/2020 18:50

www.theguardian.com/business/2020/nov/20/black-friday-2020-best-deals-bargains-discounts-uk-tesco-asda-agos-aldi article links to the supposed early/future deals

whitetilesmurf · 20/11/2020 18:51

Has anyone received their Hotel Chcolat QVC TSV from 10 days ago? Mine is still showing as pending.

Carrie76 · 20/11/2020 18:52

@TheLastStarfighter I’m seriously tempted by this one it has fab reviews watch

HoHoHoNo · 20/11/2020 18:52

Just posted this code on the discount codes topic bit thought you lot might like it too. It's a discount code for M&Co. Use code STAFF+VIP for 40% off £50 spend, or 50% off £100 spend - it's a friends and family code so you don't need to be staff to use it and its valid until Sunday night.

TheLastStarfighter · 20/11/2020 18:53

@Yeknom I have never seen a Dunelm code

@Bridecilla I’ve ordered from Zavvi several times. They are very reputable. Love the lamp! It looks exactly the same idea as a Tetris light I got for DH (from Zavvi) a few years ago. If so, it’s a standard mains cable. A skinny cable with the small round power connector going into the base plate of the light.

yafilthyanimalandahappynewyear · 20/11/2020 19:06

@whitetilesmurf, I'm still waiting (impatiently) for mine from ten days ago too.
It does say to allow 14 days so hopefully they'll be with us soon!

sorryiasked · 20/11/2020 19:06

@yeknom 2.6% cashback on quidco, better than nothing?

IggyAce · 20/11/2020 19:10

@Yeknom please don’t buy diabetic chocolate, it tends to have a laxative effect. I’m type 2 and I enjoy a good quality dark chocolate 85% and above.

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/11/2020 19:19

@beccarooney the spicery taco legend kit. There are referrals on the referral thread too. Mine is there but no pressure to use

Cherryup · 20/11/2020 19:20

@TheLastStarfighter my DH has this smart watch and is pleased with it

amazon

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/11/2020 19:22

Sorry was posting as reading I see pp answered you,

Cherryup · 20/11/2020 19:24

@balalalala
I have a spare Aldi milk chocolate bomb snowman if that's what you're looking for? Happy to post to you if you send me a DM.

I only bought it because they look nice, no one in the house actually likes hot chocolate!
