Argghhhh, I’m so sorry, I hope I haven’t lost you all! I was keeping a beady eye then got distracted trying to work out how to forward plan a Zoom call for work and invite someone, which should only take a few minutes but I’m incompetent and it took me far too long Blush .

@CarrotVan I hope it was the former!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Thanks @pigeonorstatue for the talking and dancing Alpaca Amazon tip, DD7 will love that! I was tempted to get a couple more but the fact I can’t think of anyone who would love it even nearly as much as her has tempered my overexcitement Grin

balalalala · 09/11/2020 11:58

Having ignored all the posts on the early threads about a bargain sylvanian house, my daughter has now put it on her list to santa (along with an apple and some pomegranate seeds 😂). Any tips? Found one at £25 in asda but doesn't come with anything.

Rubyroo73 · 09/11/2020 12:00

@GirlWithTheYellowHat
No, they are basically a blanket with a hoof in the middle of one edge, so you put the hood on and then you wrap it around yourself.
My two wear them all the time! They are lovely and soft so v cosy. We have a sloth and a koala! They sleep in them too quite often! Smile good buy with 25% off - I’ve just ordered the sloth onesie for my eldest as it was on her list!

Redwinestillfine · 09/11/2020 12:05

Does anyone have an Argos discount code they're not using?

Scoleah · 09/11/2020 12:06

@Fuckingfuckssake

Can I ask about the pogo sticks, any good for a 9 year old boy?
If he's into that sort of thing yes, I'm 31 and thought it was fun!Grin
Cinderellashoes · 09/11/2020 12:10

shopDisney offers - the large plush are reduced from £40 to £20 and some medium plush are reduced from £21 to £12.50. They’re a really good size!

Gardenworm · 09/11/2020 12:11

Thanks @LifeInAHamsterWheel Smile

Fuckingfuckssake · 09/11/2020 12:23

Thanks for the pogo stick advice!! Next question, was it Home Bargains or B&M for those little biscuits that go on the cup for hot chocolate? I think they were gingerbread houses? My Dsis would love them. Thank you.

PerditaNitt · 09/11/2020 12:25

@oatmilkisntsobad not sure if anyone replied about the martini glasses. If it is just for home use and you want a cheap option, try IKEA. I bought some for about £1.50 each from there (home delivery) a couple of months ago.

For a gift, try looking for gallway glass. They do Crystal glassware (including plain designs) and often are on sale in Debenhams and on other websites. You might get 2 for about £15. Otherwise Asda home might have something cheaper

TheLastStarfighter · 09/11/2020 12:30

Help please shopping gurus! I had these mens PJ bottoms in my shopping basket at Asda on Friday, but didn't check out because I had a couple of things to add and wasn't expecting any stock issues, but they all sold out over the weekend :-( They've been a bit of a tradition for DH for years now.

So I need somewhere that does character lounge-pants/PJ-bottoms in cotton. I tried the likes of redbubble, but they only do hoodies/t-shirts. There are a few on Amazon but they either don't get good reviews, or don't go up to 36 waist. Tried googling but they look just like the ones on Amazon. There's nothing similar at Sainsbury's, and Tesco don't do clothing online anymore. Nothing at M&S or Debenhams.

Pac-Man
Star Wars
Cookie Monster

They don't need to be particularly bargainous, but do need to be decent quality and cotton.

Helssjbells · 09/11/2020 12:33

Does anyone have a code for Oliver Bonas?

Duckswaddle · 09/11/2020 12:41

If anyone sees a way to get some money off the lol winter chalet, it would be much appreciated!

Chocolateteabag · 09/11/2020 12:42

@Carriemac - Knitting kits - Deramores 15% off your first order (& 5% topcashback)

or you could get her a selection of wool to go with the needles others have suggested this one has lots of colours in stock and they have a 3 for 2 on too. It's DK and acrylic so not too thin and fiddly and shouldn't split too much. Good for practising but also making something you could then use/wear.

Ravelry is then a good place for her to find easy (& free) beginners knitting patterns - it's the Mumsnet of Knitters & crotcheters!

InDreamland · 09/11/2020 12:43

Another QVC Hotel Chocolat TSV pre-launch deal you get 22 selector packs (130 pieces of chocolate) with a gift bag and gift box (13 packs in the bag and 9 packs in the box). Price is £44.97 + £4.95 p&p. It looks good, especially with a £10 off referral code (works out at £1.81 per selector pack if you include p&p cost too with £10 off).

I saw the hotel chocolat Deal this morning. Looks good!
I've been eyeing up the x2 large boxes they have on sale too. With the £10 they're a really good buy.

Mumto3thatsme · 09/11/2020 13:02

aw93 · 09/11/2020 13:05

For anyone buying Lego, Free Battle of Hoth™️ Micro Build with any LEGO®️ Star Wars™️ product purchase over £40 with code XP7FR5JW7H.
I think it's single use.

princessbear80 · 09/11/2020 13:06

Does anyone know how often ASOS do 20% off? I need to get DH a pair of jeans. I could use yet another email address for their new user offer of 15% but they’re expensive jeans so hoping for more of a discount.

girlsyearapart · 09/11/2020 13:09

@Helssjbells have you looked at the Oliver Bonas eBay shop?

Rubyroo73 · 09/11/2020 13:10

Can anyone recommend any wireless headphones for teen girl?

Thanks 🙏
